Pros: Finally after waiting for prices to come down to msrp I got a new video card. I only game in 1080 so I don't need anything more than this. Was using GTX 1050 Ti. Night and day difference in frame rate.

Overall Review: Finally got a new video card!! The chip shortage and scalpers really put the screws to us gamers over the last few years. Refused to pay over MSRP for a video card. Overall Review: As a casual gamer I could not justify spending $500+ (or even way more lately) on a new video card. With prices easily exceeding $1000 in a lot of cases I decided to just wait. I have FINALLY been able to replace my old GTX 970. It was also an MSI card, and has been running like a champ since I got it in 2014-15, but lately I started getting game crashes - not sure if that was hardware getting old or, as I actually suspect, the drivers getting updated and not supporting the older hardware as well (or Windows 11 not supporting it as well, etc..) Anyway, prices came down, pulled the trigger, stuck with a brand that has treated me well (7-8 years is pretty good for a card) and I am very happy. Install was a breeze (hardest part was getting my older, bigger card out of the ITX case), and everything just works. Only real issue I had was I had previously FPS capped several games as my card couldn't keep up. This caused some issues with stuttering/lagging until I removed the caps - then WHAM. Card runs great, everything so far has been running great, and no crashes during any games as of yet.

Pros: -Fast -Low power use -not 10000% above msrp

Cons: -I want nothing other than to use it

Overall Review: I replaced my RX 580 with it and what was previously a 752 score with 30 FPS average on United Heaven Benchmark became a 7025 score with 279 FPS. So ya know, almost 100x increase is usually pretty good. It doesnt hurt that I bought it for $100 less than everywhere else too.

Pros: No problems setting up, everything so far runs great with my Ryzen 6600.

Cons: Not a con about the card itself, but the MSI software seems pointless. Video runs fine without it.

Overall Review: Needed a mid range card for high quality 1080p gaming, and this is the ticket. Very happy I didn't have to spend over $450 to get a solid card for my build and gaming use.

Pros: GPU prices finally dropping down to around MSRP levels and this card doesnt dissapoint. for mid range gaming, this will chug along no problems. i replaced this with an overheating RTX2080 super. repasted it and it barely made a dent. didnt want to take a gamble on trying a new cooler on it. this 6600xt runs so crazy cool compared to my old GPU. easily 15 - 20c cooler. my old GPU hotspot temp was showing 105c under load. this new card has not even broke 85c on the hot spot temp. performance is better as i dont have thermal throttling on this one. but when the old GPU was not thermal throttling, this 6600XT is still beating it by a small margin. theres a few cases where it does a lil worse then the old GPU but not enough to complain about. i was expecting the same or slightly worse performance but pleasantly surprised by this card.

Cons: i've noticed initial load on a game, sometimes there is a slight stutter for like half a second. doesnt come back again. i didnt see this on 2080 super. a minor thing that doesnt bother me.

Overall Review: i would have prefered the 6700xt version of this MSI Mech card. but price per performance was better for this one. i dont need too much GPU to play most of my games. this 6600XT does what i need. this card is the sweet spot for 90% of gamers out there. u dont spend too much and ur not sacrificing anything to game with this. i run a Ryzen 3700X and use two 1440p (165hz & 144hz) monitors. games running great so far.

Pros: Great for mining.

Cons: Drops mining pool connection while gaming, even with forced priority.

Overall Review: Decent for the value

Pros: I got this on sale and with a mail in rebate totaling to 240 and some change. This was part of my first build I have done in quite a while. last time I built a new pc was in 2009 and I bought a RX 6950. It runs what I play great at 144+ fps The install was easy and getting the drives was painless. So far I haven't noticed any issues with the card performance wise.

Cons: The only issue with this card is that the fans sound like they are clipping something. Its a brand new card and I wouldn't think its the bearings but it makes me think its clipping a wire or the plastic shielding of the card. Its only annoying since you can hear it the whole time the pc is on since it does it at normal fan speed. Its something im going to have to take the card apart to look at.

Overall Review: For being out of the PC game for a long while. Building and installing everything was quick and easy. I had zero issues with the card and apart from the fan issue its very solid and its nice to play games at higher then 30fps again.

Pros: Solid performance for 1080 gaming

Cons: Issues with black screen flashes after waking the computer from sleep.

Overall Review: Only purchase if the price is right.
