Pros: * Packaged very well * Card is very nice looking, decent brushed aluminum cooler, not flimsy AND an aluminum backplate. * One of the higher overclocked cards. *Actually INSTOCK at somewhere close to MSRP.
Cons: *No leds I guess?
Overall Review: Ok, so after reading reviews and seeing a ton of negitive content on these cards by people who don't even own one or have seen one in action. I started digging through different specs and looked at the raw specs of the card and I saw a completely different picture. I bought 1 on release date for my younger brothers pc and tested it on my old 8300 8core system and its a lot faster than what people give it credit for even though its only a 4gb card, I tested it vs a rx460 4gb oc card and a rx570 4gb and this card beats both by a long shot. Forza 5 horizon runs great mostly high preset and pulls almost a consistent 100fps on a 24" 1920x1080 monitor. Dropped it into my brothers 3700x ryzen build on a pcie 4 board and it gained even more frames. Pretty much tackles any game we have thrown at it 1080p with mid/high settings on either system. The thing people are missing with this card is infinity cache, gpu frequency and the dd6 ram speed those are the main points to this card that makes it shine, sure it only has 4pcie lanes and 64bit bus but the raw speed of the ram and infinity cache definitely make up for it. I have had so much fun with this card I ordered another one for myself and will probably order another one for my friends build. The biggest thing I noticed with reviews regarding this card is people keep comparing it to cards way out of its league, sure some older cards are faster, but also have double the ram and a wider bus, so its not even in the same ballpark. This card isn't ment to compete with a 3060 but does hold its own, its ment to be a lower end budget card which until recently there hasn't been much market in, this card is geared for the 90%ish of gamers who don't need a top teir card to play indie games or csgo at 1080p. I am overly impressed with the card and would recommend if you need to upgrade from a low end card from 2-4years back(1030,1050 or rx 400s or rx 500s 4gb cards). I run a 6900xt and am still impressed by the size, powerdraw, and overall performance in games from this little guy. Don't believe the negativity buy one and try it yourself.
Pros: cheap and available. Son wanted to play new FNAF game and the passed down gtx 760ti just wouldn't run it at all. Installed the 6500xt and started on medium settings then went to high and still smooth and decent fps ( 70+ ). All his games run better and smoother now. He is very happy. Fortnite, FNAF Security Breach, Valorant, Mincraft, Roblox, Tabs and others. Very cool and quiet, even when I stress tested the card. Cooling system is beyond good enough.
Cons: I had to try and overclock, it's who I am. Overclocking added very little, but some performance increase using AMD Radeon software. No Hevc encoder! ??? say what? If you want to stream and record your gameplay, you will need a 30 to 100 dollar game capture card. This is 2022 right? Performance is 10 to 30 percent better on pcie 4.0 or above motherboards which my son thankfully had.
Overall Review: If you want to get gaming now and don't have a lot of money or want to wait to see what the market does for high end cards, this is a no brainer buy. I would recommend based on games performance that I am seeing on my son's computer.
Pros: Plugged right in and worked. Great upgrade from my Ryzen 5600g integrated graphics. Immediately check it on some games and its running as fast as I could hope. (Rust and DbD play perfectly)
Cons: Sags a small bit, hardly noticeable, could be fixed with running cables towards the top of the case.
Overall Review: With all graphics card prices inflating I was trying to ride it out on the integrated graphics. Caved and bought this, works exactly as expected. Will eventually upgrade but I think for the price point and quality this will last me a few years till prices hopefully level out.
Pros: Quiet operation. Fast. Easy driver installation.
Overall Review: I don't understand the negative reviews. My daughter's older Radeon would not let her play a game (I think it is called Genshin Impact) with her brother who has a newer Radeon 5700. I took a chance, in spite of bad reviews, and got this card. She is completely happy. The game runs as smoothly on this card as on the 5700 at the highest quality setting. The fans are so quiet I had to look to see if they were even running. Driver installation in Windows 10 was almost as easy as Linux - we just launched the Catalyst control centre and told it to upgrade the driver. Based on our few days of experience so far, I recommend this card without hesitation, especially given that it is currently one of the lowest-priced high-performance cards.
Pros: i tried the XFX and returned it at best buy. AMD RSR is a blessing. i have a 1080p, 144mhz monitor. reduced the resolution and the upscaling worked like a charm. playing battlefield 2042 at 60-70 fps at high settings. and oh, my cpu is an i3 12th gen quad core. and both are awesome. also the gpu is lightweight, far cry from a R9 390 i had which was considered a lethal weapon if you have it on your hand
Cons: none
Overall Review: don't listen to some influencers, this thing is a good entry level gpu. you won't be disappointed
Pros: - Available and in stock - Much faster than my old card. - Easy setup - Plug and play
Cons: - Not Nvidia 30 series - A tad pricy but not scalper prices
Overall Review: I really wanted an Nvidia 30 series card but I already gave away my first born for a used car. My new build just looked sad without a GPU. In a side-by-side comparison this card (AMD RX 6500 XT) doesn't win many awards. But when I compare it to what I already have (e.g. GTX 1050 ti) it is much faster. This card will at least get me by until that day in the distant future when Nvidia cards are actually on store shelves.
Overall Review: The RX6500 XT isnt a bad card. Yes I wish it had more memory on the board, and yes I wish it was actually at the cost it should have been, but in the end it will push COD at 60 fps on a 4k60 monitor.
Pros: For a card that got the worst reviews on the internet, I haven't had problem 1 yet. Now I'm no graphics expert so I'm sure it's all what the internet says it is, right?
Cons: Cost me 250 in a difficult gpu market but beggars can't be chosers. Wish it had more memory.
Overall Review: Works just fine for the minimal gaming I do and needed something as my current had no on board graphics.
Pros: 1080p/1440p high settings gaming. Available and not over a grand!
Cons: Not Nvidia
Overall Review: Yes I would recommend.
Don't listen to the haters, great little card.

The anti-hype against that GPU is in some ways valid and others, invalid
