Pros: -Performance greater than my old RX 5600 XT or even my son's RX 6600 XT. -Double-width and not 2.5 width like other cards (I bought the RX 6600 XT for me, but it hit my PCI-E WiFi card as the 6600 is a 2.5 width card, so it went to my son instead as his case and MB are larger). -Quiet when watching movies/shows, and still mostly inaudible when gaming -70FPS gaming on ultra settings and 4K resolution on a 50" LG TV
Cons: -Computer sat with a black screen after I swapped the 5600 out for the 6650. Had to force-reboot. It was fine after that, and the existing drivers had no issues.
Overall Review: This is the fifth ASRock component I've used, and have been very happy with all of them. I have a B450 ITX board, two B550 boards and one Intel ITX board from them, plus this graphics card. All have done exactly what they advertise and I cannot complain about their pricing. I paired the Challenger 6650 with an ASRock B550M-HDV board, R5-5600X processor, 16GB ram and a 1TB Samsung SSD. I am not disappointed with this machine and it's capabilities. This review is for the ASRock review rebate program. But I would not have changed my review even if I didn't go for the rebate. Seriously.
Overall Review: Got this to replace my RX580 and I was able to increase most of my graphics setting significantly despite having the same 8gb ram. SO much quieter too.
Pros: Maintains 60 fps on my 60hz monitor at ultra setting on most games I play like apex and death stranding. I also haven't had any issues with the card itself.
Cons: It's the only card in the 6000 series that doesn't fully support VR, and I didn't read enough into oculus requirements to realize that before purchasing. Windows update also likes to replace the drivers with incompatible ones.
Overall Review: This is a great card if you disable graphics card auto updates and play mainly flat screen games. It runs some VR games but others not so much.
Pros: Installation was very easy, no glitches at all! The tuning and monitoring software is well designed and easy to use. The card runs cool and quiet The price was good considering the current price madness for NVidia cards Run 3D Mark Demo with surprising good marks.
Cons: The default setting fixes the fan at 0 rpms and does not increase it no matter the load. This is good for normal PC work but it is easier to forget to change it when starting a game.
Overall Review: Certainly would recommend it. Good first impressions that I hope will hold true as I use and learn more about the performance of this graphics card. This is a review for the AsRock review rebate program
Pros: This GPU came out at a time where it beat Nvidia's RTX 3060, but was also cheaper than the 3060 (if you could even find it). No LEDs which I like, but may be a con for you. This card should be relevant for 1080p games for the next few years, so the GPU market should be more normal when you need to upgrade from this, assuming you're not trying to do super high definition gaming.
Cons: AMD doesn't have as advanced ray-tracing capabilities as Nvidia at this time.
Overall Review: This review for ASRock review rebate program. Glad I could finish my build with this card that was released at an opportune time for AMD considering the state of the GPU market in May 2022.
Overall Review: Fantastic card. Had been waiting awhile to upgrade my 12 year old graphics card but prices were way too high. Finally pulled the trigger on this one and have no regrets. Running every game on max settings without a hiccup
Pros: Pretty good graphics and speed once it's setup.
Cons: AMD always requires tweaking to get it to work correctly.
Overall Review: Recommended? Yes, with a caveat. Be prepared to spend some time adjusting settings. I found that for the most part turn off all the software enhancements that AMD has. Be sure to use AMD drivers, if you have an AMD CPU.
Overall Review: Didn't try a lot of games but it's really good for it price, forza 5 max settings 70fps Valorant max settings 350 fps with i5 12400 and Fortnite max settings with 100 fps
Overall Review: Replaced a GTX 1060 6G with this. Awesome jump in performance with MS Flight Sim and Sniper Elite 5. I run just 1080p and now can run everything on Ultra. Loving it. Review for ASRock review rebate program
Pros: Does as advertised no issues
Cons: Wish I saved up for a rx 6800
Overall Review: Very good!
