Pros: RTX 3060 Ti - You know what you're buying.
Cons: What the other reviewer said is true. The card will cause BSODs from overheating. Card seems to have a lower heat tolerance than other video cards.
Overall Review: The solution to this is to download MSI Afterburner software (or similar). The fans don't run all the time and the card idles at 55C with no airflow. With the fans running all the time the card will idle at roughly 27C and top out on games around 39C to 41C. This will prevent BSODs and artifacts. Playing at 1440p. The fans are extremely quiet. Best of luck to anyone else, I know it's frustrating.
Pros: Worked well... for 3 days... Newegg No Hassle returns is as advertised - EGGcelent service - instant chat service, RMA authorized within minutes. Nvidia support was also EGGcellent. Very patient, almost instantaneous chat support. Waited on the chat with me while doing things like Windows DISM and SFC.
Cons: Card worked for about 2-3 days, then all of sudden I had to reinstall the drivers on a daily basis. Was getting yellow colour banding while playing non-graphically demanding games. Finally one boot, there was no display adapter detected by Windows Device Manager. Nvidia support walked me through several steps, and eventually told me the GPU was faulty.
Overall Review: Unfortunately, the short life span of this card meant that I was unable to give it a full test. Seemed to provide about a 50% boost to my FPS in many games when it worked compared to my 1070ti. **NOTE** I didn't OC the card, and was only running 1080p. I returned the card and purchased a Gigabyte Radeon RX 6750 XT for less money, with a higher ranking on Tom's hierarchy.
