Pros: - Delivers respectable framerates when partnered with an appropriate CPU and RAM. - Excessive 12GB of VRAM gives some bragging rights. - Over engineered triple fan cooling solution keeps it quite cool. - The card is hunky and is of high build quality. - Looks great through a case side window. Solid gamer oriented styling. - Allows the usage of ray tracing at an entry level MSRP. If you can get it at that price is another question. - "Fixed" my system by replacing a 5700XT that would often black screen and crash my rig.
Cons: I did have to buy a motherboard I didn't really want as part of the Newegg Shuffle. That is of no fault to this RTX 3060, and better reflects the current and unfortunate state of the market. A small price to pay.
Overall Review: I was absolutely blessed with the opportunity to buy this at its MSRP during a Newegg Shuffle, after entering the event frequently for over six months. I actually would have liked a single fan version of the RTX 3060, as a triple fan version is a bit overkill for the GPU on this card, but you don't say no to the opportunity to buy a video card these days, and the TUF Gaming model looks great. I partnered it with an ageing, but still solid Ryzen 7 2700X and 32GB of DDR4-3200 RAM, and it delivers excellent framerates at 1440p on most video games. So far I've played games like Diablo 2: Resurrected, Cyberpunk 2077, Halo: The Master Chief Collection, and Battlefield 5 with satisfactory experiences. If you have something similar like a Ryzen 5 3600 or Core i7-8700K, you can expect this card to shine. I have an ASUS ROG Strix motherboard and matching it up with an ASUS TUF Gaming RTX 3060 graphics card definitely felt right. The small amount of RGB on the card looks neat too. While the ASUS TUF Gaming series is a quality product line up, ROG and ROG Strix are generally higher on totem pole at ASUS. I'm sure its mostly just brand / product segmentation, but just something to think about for your build. If you get the chance to buy the card at its MSRP, just do it, because you might not have another chance for six months.
Pros: Product has full rgb and looks amazing
Cons: The marketing makes this product look bad
Overall Review: This is a great card, I dont know why they advertise it always in yellow. It has full rgb and looks really good in person. Form the photos I have never really thought of trying to get this card but I got it in a shuffle and decided to buy. It looks fantastic!
Pros: - excellent cooling performance - fairly low power draw - easy to undervolt (I recommend it)
Cons: - is availability and/or pricing even worth mentioning? we all know the situation
Overall Review: Excellent graphics card! The Asus TUF cards have been outstanding for both AMD's RX 6000 series and NVIDIA's RTX 30 series, offering competitive stock clock speeds and great thermal performance thanks to the large heatsink and triple-fan design. I recommend running a small undervolt, not just for this GPU but for any RTX 30 series GPU.
Pros: Great card. Quiet and as good as a 2070 and close to my 2080. Very well made. If your needing a card and cannot get a 3080 these are no slouch. Might struggle with 4k. But 2k and 165Hz it runs like a champ.
Cons: 000
Overall Review: Got this on the shuffle. Thanks Newegg.
Pros: Runs cool and quiet! Decent 1440p performance. Great 1080p performance!
Cons: Very long card so may not fit in some cases.
Overall Review: Worth the money if you can get it closer to MSRP
Overall Review: Great card with argb. Nephew is able to play all AAA games now with no issues.
Pros: ran superposition on max and it just sat at 59c. impressive.
Cons: none
Overall Review: I heard about this card and that they used the same thermal solution that they use on the 3080 and wow. it is overkill. I don't overclock but i am sure i could.
Overall Review: Sealed box, brand new card, works fast out of box. Fans are more quiet at max speed than my other card that sounded like starting up a jet engine. Temps don't rise over 50c so far, my other card was 70 to 80c 1060 6gb. Red dead 2 90 to 100 frames with the correct setting tweaked with ultra textures, everything ultra is 50 to 60 frames but still cooled card. Love these new cards.
Pros: - Was a huge upgrade over my GTX 1650. - Triple fan cooling is superb, even if it's working a lot on those gaming binges, it works efficiently. - 12GB of VRAM is amazing to have, mostly use up to 6 or 8GB.
Overall Review: Would recommend 100% to people looking for an upgrade to their GPU. Would purchase this GPU again or one similar to it. Would add a bit more RGB but apart from that, this is an excellent card! 10/10!
A truly fantastic GPU
