Pros: Hard to express how nice the card looks in your hands. Very neat design, if large. I have always liked the ASUS Strix cards. Nvidia has discounted all of their top end cards. Woo Hoo! Out of the box, this card ran a 12,073 in Superposition Benchmark in 1080p Extreme and averaging about 90 Fpm. Stayed cool at 70 degrees C, and 1930 Mhz GPU and 9501 on Memory speed. I did not hear any coil whine when the card was maxed out. Card is very solid with no sag. With current discounts and 12 Gb of RAM, not sure I would opt for the 3080 Ti. Shipping was fast and free via UPS. It's a Winner.
Cons: You really do need to see if this card will fit in your case. Really. You also need to have a well ventilated case, as when this card is pulling 350 to 400 watts, it does give off a LOT of heat. Not sure I can stay with an air cooled CPU anymore. Also, this is a low hash-rate card, so if you plan to mine, this is not the card. Using the Fractal Design R6 Case.
Overall Review: Very happy with this card and purchase. With the pricing and availability crisis finally over for this "cycle", it is not a bad time to finally make a purchase if you need or want a new card. Pricing may yet come down further, but it also may not. As for this ASUS RTX 3080 12 Gb video card, I have no complaints. UPDATE on 09/03/22. Just to make everyone aware, this bad boy really can draw some power. Running up the Power envelop to overclock resulted in my Computer dropping games, and other anomalies. Set back to stock power draw and no issues. There is nothing wrong with my Seasonic 850 Watt Titanium Power supply and nothing wrong with the Strix Video card, but if you are going to overclock this Video card you many need to consider a 1000 Watt power supply. Mine is an AMD system, but if you are running a recent "hot" Intel system with this Video Card, I do not think 850 Watts will cut it.
Pros: Powerful 12gb Vram Lighting
Cons: Cost for performance Fans can whine when gaming on super high graphics Hard to install/uninstall due to size
Overall Review: I still would have bought it, I had a EVGA 2070S, haven't seen too much of a difference in terms of performance other than more fps. The EVGA 2070S was quieter, near silent. Under normal performance the 3080 is quiet, under high load it can be a bit louder but still quiet.
Pros: - can be heavily undervolted with MSI Afterburner OC Scanner - very quiet for a card that can nearly pull 400 watts. - sits nicely between a 3080 10GB and a 3080 Ti - design and color of card suits just about any build with a big enough case - Full 384bit memory bus.
Cons: - 12GB of VRam will get tight in a couple years, but that's part of planned obsolescence. - its fairly big and chonky - some coil whine at high FPS on stock clocks.
Overall Review: I bought this on deep discount after the 4090 launched, so it was hard to pass up. The strix model in particular is beautiful, and probably one of the nicest looking PC components I've ever owned. The new 4000 series strix design is a step down in the looks department imo. Undervolting is very possible with these cards. I was able to get a stable undervolt of 1980Mhz @ 0.900V (backing down to 1950Mhz @ 0.900V to be confidently stable), but your mileage will definitely vary. Every chip has a sweet spot voltage. At stock settings and high FPS the coil whine was noticeable enough. Undervolting solves this problem, at least it does for me, and the power draw decreased by at least 50Watts under load as well, so big bonus there. (to make Ampere run at a constant voltage, you need to use the OC Scanner -youtube search if you don't know- and alt+mouse-click drag down one of the blocks on the graph so all the blocks are below the max clockspeed you want, then drag the block up at the voltage you're targeting to the frequency you want to test, then click the check box button in afterburners main window to apply, and all the blocks will auto-organize themselves perfectly to be at a constant voltage and frequency under load, while also stepping down during idle) In GPU-Z I noticed that the memory and the rest of the card probably make up 50-60% of the total power draw, making the GA102 a super efficient chip on it's own. I'm not an RGB fan per say, but the programmable light bar on the front of the card is pretty cool, and I can shut it off completely so that's cool too. The fans are very quiet. It's not until they get up past 1500RPM that you start to hear the air rushing, but the fans themselves don't hum or make any noise other than rushing air. All in all, a great purchase.
Pros: -fast, 1860 clocks right out the box -runs pretty cool, getting 65ish under full load -12gbs of vram. perfect
Cons: -back plate is embarrassing for a top of the line specialty card. msi mid grade cards have better build quality than this "premium" card. the lack of support for a card this size is odd. -coil whine is deafening under full load.
Overall Review: This card rips through any game on 1440p ultra. Does pretty well in 4k also, If the blasting buzzing of the coil whine isn't an issue then ide say this card a perfect addition to a 1440p/4k build. Price isn't half bad either consider all things.
Overall Review: Upgraded from a GTX 1080, and it was well worth the money. I don't know about others, but my card didn't have a coil whine issue. It does tend to get pretty warm though, as this card cranks out heat like crazy, but I didn't notice any performance hits. Beautiful card, totally recommended.
Pros: This gpu is amazingly fast for a 3080. It's actually faster than some lower end 3080ti's. It's aesthetically nice as well - looks great vertically mounted. Runs cooler than I expected based on another 3080 that I have. Fans are extremely quiet since they're not running fast.
Cons: None
Overall Review: I was lucky enough to be selected my first try on the shuffle. Was certainly hoping to get this card and it has proven to be every bit as good as the reviews online. It's a little larger than other 3080s out there and is very power hungry, but that power isn't wasted in the form of heat like some others. I've got the card paired up with MSI Afterburner which is working like a charm together. Tried the Asus but went with Afterburner mostly because I've used it for years and feel more comfortable with it. As said earlier this gpu runs cooler than the MSI 3080 despite having changed the thermal pads and running an aggressive fan curve on the old one. The Asus hasn't gone to 60c even while benchmarking it or during hrs of heavy gaming. In all fairness though it is mounted in a Corsair 5000d Airflow case with 10 fans. If you're a fan of rgb lighting this one isn't real bright but it's subtle enough that it isn't distracting. Even with the prices being what they are right now, I was pleased with the shuffle price of the 3080 and the 3080ti model, but was chosen for the 3080 only. The 3090 is not for me at the price it is but if you can and want to afford it don't hesitate, you'll be happy with it!
Pros: it's very nice looking and has great performances. I'm a fan !
Cons: -my card has a really bad hot plastic smell that fills my room within 10 min of me playing. the smell is almost like a chemical or a hot plastic melting... very unplesant. I feel like i have to cover my face to even play. -backplate feels cheap -my temps are really high, exemples : 70-75 to even 78 degrees celcius when playing spider man or smaller games. my case has a lot of airflow and the card still manage to get that hot
Overall Review: I am dissapointed because I always know that asus makes the best products but this one is just hard for me. I asked for an exchange. hopefully the new one won't have those problems

Overall Review: A++++
Pros: Super fast, great cooling, zero RPM fan mode at idle.
Cons: Coil whine is super loud.
Overall Review: I wanted the best and I got the best. If youre looking to avoid coil whine, look elsewhere. This card vibrates faster than the Flash passing through a wall.
Can they make these Video Cards any bigger?
