Pros: Excellent performance
Cons: Loudest coil whine in 30 years of using a computer.
Overall Review: I was happy to land a 4090, but this card has major issues. This is the loudest coil whine Ive ever heard in a gpu. I have multiple friends who have different cards not have this issue. All my friends who have the 4090 asus tuff or strix have very loud coil whine.

Pros: Card looks good, fans are quiet
Cons: This card has VERY loud coil whine. This is not the kind that's normal when viewing a loading screen or some other situation where you're getting 500fps. I'm talking 60-70fps in CP2077 and loud screeching sounds coming from the card. From everything I've read on forums, reddit, youtube, and other reviews, this is common with Asus cards both this gen and last. I've seen the Asus rep on here make some incredibly ridiculous suggestions regarding this issue. 1. Get a sound proof case. So because Asus can't do proper quality control, we should spend extra money on a case with poor air flow and take the time to move everything over? Lol. 2. Limit frame rate of games As I previously mentioned, the whine doesn't just occur at very high frame rates, it also happens around 60-80fps. Literally no one is going to buy this card just to play below 60fps. 3. Lower graphical quality of games This is by far the most ridiculous suggestion. The whole point of paying this much is so you don't have to do that. 4. Underclock gpu Lowering the power limit will reduce your performance. Also, it only takes the coil whine from a 10 to a 7-8. It's still audible. Using different psus and different cables didn't help. It really is a shame that the coil whine is so bad, this card is great otherwise. Don't take my word for anything I've said, just search and you will see a LOT of complaints about coil whine with this card.
Overall Review: The techpowerup site measures the width of this card incorrectly. The 160mm is from the end of the pcie bracket to the end of the heatsink. It doesn't stick out 160mm from your motherboard. It's pretty much the same width as the Suprim. The Nvidia 12+4 pin adapter sticks out too far to safely put the side panel on with the lian li 011 dynamic xl. The cablemod cable will fit though.
Pros: Extremely powerful card. Simply the best available with the best drivers. In games where I was reaching 235-240 FPS (1440p) I am now reaching in excess of 400 with the same settings. Even at full utilization, this card has never topped 50C while gaming. It runs incredibly cool. I used ASUS GPU Tweak software to set the fans to a steady 70% speed.
Cons: Absolutely massive. Roughly the same length as a PS5. Not an issue, per se, but something to be aware of. For me, the size is perfect because it fills out my O11DE nicely. Some coil whine during gaming. Does not really bother me because I wear headphones during matches. I also know that coil whine is typically at its worst when a card is new and tends to subside after some long-term use, so I don't see this as an issue.
Overall Review: If you can buy it, buy it. I
Pros: Bought the vanilla TUF. Flashed to Strix OC bios and it runs with it without any issues. Very fast and a great upgrade from my 3090 Ti. Super silent even with OC profile.
Cons: Card doesnt have the same headroom on core clock like I am seeing on forums. Mine caps out at 2880 core. Memory is good at 12,000 (+1500). YMMV.
Overall Review: Dont over pay for OC or Strix versions if you are not water cooling and/or dont want to overclock like mad. Just buy this and flash the Strix bios. Save $400.
Pros: Looks absolutely amazing, runs below 65-67c max , around 50c undervolt
Cons: Coil whine is loud sometimes really bad I may contact ASUS to try and get a replacement
Overall Review: Amazing with a caveat
Cons: Hate the fn cable it came with.
Overall Review: Was really surprised by the performance. Was not expecting it to be such a beast after the 3090ti . Fast shipping by Newegg. Thanks
Pros: Runs 4K 120Hz ultra like butter
Cons: Price
Overall Review: Shes a Beast, buy if you got the cash!
Pros: Super fast and super stable
Overall Review: Just keep in mind this thing wants 4 individual power cables attached to the included adapter.
Pros: Fast! Quiet and cool.
Cons: Its still 1600
Overall Review: Amazing GPU. What else do you need? A few more FPS and aesthetics for 400 dollars more with a strix. Im good.
Pros: MORE FPS!! Runs nice and cool! Built well did I mention more FPS?? Driver issues, but its early in the game.
Cons: The included cable sucks! its too short, That's more of a Nvidia Fault Location of the power connector sucks Its big Need a big case
Overall Review: Great product, invest in a new cable for a cleaner look. Runs nice and cool and wipes the floor of my 3090 ti. Drivers are still little immature yet.
