Pros: -Incredibly powerful -Relatively quiet -iCX3 technology keeps the GPU extremely cool -All metal backplate -Adjustable ARGB LED -Fantastic quality and packaging from EVGA -Makes any build look aggressive yet elegant
Cons: -Absolutely massive (a con for those with smaller cases) -Fans get quite loud under heavy load -GPU shortage makes this card difficult to find
Overall Review: Through Newegg shuffle I managed to successfully acquire what 99% of other people are STILL struggling to get their hands on, an RTX 3xxx series Ampere GPU. The RTX 3070Ti wasn't my first choice for a new GPU but I couldn't pass up the opportunity for an upgrade and something that has eaten away at my mind while also taking up a great deal of my free time to find. Upon arrival I felt a huge weight had finally been lifted off of my shoulders. First impressions, the card absolutely dwarfs my GTX 1070Ti in comparison. I have only ever owned MSI GPUs so as my first EVGA product the build quality is outstanding. Handling the GPU before installation you really get a sense that great care was taken when manufacturing and assembling. After the card clicked into my PCI-E slot it was eerily quiet, time seemed to slow, and I basked in the glory that my build had finally acquired the final piece of the puzzle. Gaming at 1440p 144hz MAX settings in several intensive games the EVGA RTX 3070Ti FTW3 does not disappoint and I was thoroughly impressed with it's performance. Would I recommend this to others? The RTX 3070Ti is one of the least impressive Ti cards Nvidia has released over the years. The RTX 3070Ti is essentially a beefed up RTX 3070 rather than a gimped RTX 3080. This puts it closer to the RTX 3070 in terms of performance. However, I would recommend this particular card to others because of EVGA's factory overclock, build quality, and visual appeal. If you want an astounding 1440p gaming experience and the ability to also dabble in some light 4k gaming then this product is for you. This card will suit me well for years to come and I am finally happy to be enjoying a current generation GPU.
Pros: -outstanding performance -cool temps -3 year warranty with EVGA -quiet
Cons: -difficult to obtain -size
Overall Review: Update 7/8/2021: Been playing Red Dead Redemption 2 with everything on max settings, getting a constant 60+ FPS on 2560x1080 (21:9) ultrawide, paired with a Ryzen 3800X 8-core processor. GPU load varies between about 70-85% depending on the environment, temps haven't gone up past 66°C so far. Haven't noticed any coil whine either. Cool and quiet, must have gotten a good one. The only setting I knocked down was tree tessellation because it bumped my GPU load up to ~98% and it doesn't really affect much beyond the details of tree trunks. Obviously this had more of an impact in forest environments in the game. I was fortunate enough to win the Newegg Shuffle and got the card I was dreaming of. Upgrading from a 6-year old GTX 960, the performance is night and day. Fallout 4 and Valheim, and at 2560x1080, both run on max settings with a constant 120+ FPS. The card's fans barely need to turn on with Fallout 4, and I haven't seen the temps go above 54° C. And if you're the type of person who is triggered by RGB lights, you can disable them entirely with EVGA's PrecisionX software, the same software used for overclocking the card. I tried uploading a quick video of some of the lighting settings via Newegg, but the uploader keeps failing. You can see them here: https://youtu.be/fUNwXF08C8U This is by far the biggest card I've owned. It's 2.75 slots thick and nearly a foot long. Make sure to measure your case, if you are lucky enough to get one. I got myself a little GPU support pole and cut it down to the exact size for my case (Corsair 450D) because I didn't want this GPU ruining my PCI slot over time. Thank you, Newegg, and I hope you can find a good GPU in this sad market we're in. The imaginary meme currency crash can't come soon enough.
Pros: Performs well, RGB Software works with no issues. I have not OC'd yet
Cons: Price, Newegg's package deals that make you buy something that is over priced and not needed
Overall Review: Great product but Newegg needs to stop playing games with pricing
Pros: -Runs Hell Let Loose
Overall Review: I recommend this card to anyone who wants to play at 1440p and 4K. Games look smooth and beautiful. I am in love with this card! Good job EVGA!
Pros: Vast improvement over 10's and 20's in use in my house. Good rgb. Easy to overclock using precision X1 or Afterburner. Running very cool ( in spacious be quiet! case mind). 45 fps in Cyberpunk @ ultimate 4k shows 62 deg. and 305w. Dead quiet Good enough for me.
Cons: Bloody enormous!
Overall Review: Without a doubt a great and relatively inexpensive (only in the shuffle though!) card and another great evga product. Probably didn't need to overclock but stays cool anyway 'cos regular boost clock is enough. My first ever ti card of any series and I'm more than happy thanks only to Newegg. Do the shuffle!
Overall Review: Great performance upgrade from my 1070ti. Had to clear cmos before it would give a video out.
Pros: Once again Newegg delivers. I have used them for a little over 20 years and once again have delivered on my needed computer parts at the best prices and free shipping. Graphics cards were just what I needed at the right price and timing. Keep up the great work!! N
Overall Review: Outstanding company to purchase computer parts for building your own system!
Pros: - Works as expected. Large upgrade from a 1070 - Excellent performance at 1440 at and around my setups optimal 144hz - Keeps far more consistent frames. Frame drops are within a far more marginal range when under heavy load - Seems to shrug off certain effects, such as glare, shadow softening and tessellation. In testing, none of these hit performance at all if toggled on and off - Has physical on-card switch for OC mode if you want that little boost at the cost of power draw and noise - Keeps cool, at least on the normal setting - Handles multi-monitor support better than older cards. No more launching on the HDMI device by default, then jutting over to the DP device once user settings were loaded
Cons: - Costs are of course quite absurd for all GPUs right now - Had to be done as a bundle (just a PSU for the one I got) - Annoying to find a regular 3070 instead of a Ti, which is not really worth the extra investment in my opinion, but you take what you can reasonably get right now - Default fan curves are extremely aggressive. Will go from a whisper to full bore when under a heavy load. Will also go back and forth between these two extremes depending on what is on the screen. You look one direction and fans are going insane, then do a 180 and they calm down. If you keep doing this the fans will rev up for the 2 second you looked one way, then calm down for 2 seconds on repeat. Very unsettling since you can clearly hear them going through headphones when they ramp up - Thing is massive and needs, and I means NEEDS support. Like a GPU stand. All 3070s and up have this issue though. They will absolutely sag to a scary degree without something to hold up the other end, which could cause permanent damage to your mainboard or the card itself. Should come with one from the manufacturer - Really needs a 1000w power supply for some headroom. A 750w would be running on overtime to keep your entire setup alive, creating more heat and noise - Most house outlets are intended for 1800w max. With the power draw of newer PC setups with these newer cards and two monitors, it can be a little daunting plugging them all into one outlet using a surge protector if that is all you have nearby
Overall Review: - Great card with small tweaks to get it set up nicely. Fan curve and GPU stand to be exact - Nice touches with a physical on-card OC switch and the visual appeal of the card itself - Could benefit from a 1000w PSU - Very marginal increase over a normal 3070 for the cost, though stock issues continue to apply pressure to get what you can if you need it
Great little card
