Pros: - excellent value/performance - more than enough rgb - bought for a 1440@165hz monitor. can run everthing maxed out at the highest frame rate - cooling is just perfect, not that noisy on high usage levels - one of the best "top of the line" 3080s out there
Cons: - I wish newegg could stop trying to shove that many "combos" in their product shuffle
Overall Review: Is a perfect card for me; I upgraded from a rtx 2060 so I'm more than happy with it. Try to not get scalped out there guys, I won the shuffle and for me that was the only way I could get one. I don't live in the states or canada, so getting something online was my only bet as I live in colombia. Product shuffle is a good mechanism to avoid scalpers to get the goodies(other retailers couldn't care less about solving that), even if sometimes newegg push ridiculous priced combos
Pros: I have a 9700k and with the 3080 I can play just about any game at 1440p from anywhere between 120-144FPS. Card stays relatively cool under load. Core isnt exceeding 75C. Precision X1 is great software. I love all the temp sensors you can see. Defiantly use this over afterburner since its an EVGA card.
Cons: -Could not get even the smallest OC without crashes unless I flipped the switch to the secondary BIOS. After I did that I didnt have an issue. -memory gets a bit hot. 88C was max I saw. Memory is rated to go that high, I just dont particularly love seeing temps that high. -my 850w gold barely seems to be enough power for this card. Im relatively new to overclocking but this card draws a ton of power so make sure you have a 750 minimum, or a 850 minimum if you want to play with overclocking.
Overall Review: This is an amazing card but defiantly requires a larger PSU, and if you want to overclock it, itll overclock decently with the air cooler, but to go farther itll need to be watercooled. This GPU does great and will handle any game without issue, but it is defiantly targeted to those that want to do extreme overclocking. If it wasnt for how difficult it is to get a 3000 GPU, I probably would have gone for a different card simply because its priced higher than other 3080s because of the OC potential. Otherwise its a beast of a card.
Pros: I got this card for less than $800 Can handle any game max settings and max ray tracing on 1080p and 1440p EVGA has the best looking shroud, imo
Cons: Has large power draw and will have you sweating during long gaming sessions
Overall Review: Amazing card, get it if it's less than $800 you can just skip the 4000 series lol
Pros: - Puts out very reasonable temps (70-80C) - Haha gamer RGB - You think you have seen everything? Put this bad boy in
Cons: - Did not know ahead of time it needed 3 PSU cables :) - Literally nothing is wrong with this
Overall Review: Well if you didn't want to overspend for a 3090 but you wanted something with more OOMPH, the 3080 is the card for you. I previously had a 1070ti and it was a HUGE upgrade (I had a i9-9900K CPU before upgrading - reduced the CPU bottleneck). Plus, if you get cold in your office or your mom's basement, this bad boy throws enough heat to warm you up while you ask your mother for a sandwich. Overall - 3080 is an excellent card and I would recommend this to anyone looking to upgrade
Pros: First Off, It has a phenomenal custom cooler which keeps this card shockingly cool under load, and it has massive headroom/overclocking-friendly features. It's an excellent high end GeForce RTX 3080 choice above almost all the rest. Yes it's a bit pricey over the Nvidia's FE Graphics Cards & is also massive in size. Massively Beautiful in all its glory! The esthetics of this graphics card is wickedly superb! The RGB LED's are a sweet visual! especially when all the lights are off. With that being said most features mentioned above are reasons enough for it's price tag. Pros: Excellent HIGH FPS Smooth 1440p & 4K Gaming! Phenomenal Custom Cooler! Stylistic & loaded with overclocking friendly features! Fan & RGB headers, Captivating RGB lights! Precision X1 software is extremely useful! A Beast running at 1440p with Ray-Tracing On! Very Good Performance running at 4k with (DLSS - Balanced) The #1 best feature being (DLSS) 2.0 is an outstanding measure of what these new-gen cards can pull off!!
Cons: Price might be an issue for some. It's massive size is aimed towards a larger size length for PC cases. The NVIDIA statements that the 3080 GPU's would be able to game hard at 4K... Not the full truth! Yes with DLSS turned on we can game at this desired resolution but with ray tracing off and multiple graphic settings tweaked lower than ultra!! So not being the best future-proof for 4K gaming.
Overall Review: In my opinion this specific model GPU is definitely worth it. You will love the power in performance this EVGA GeForce RTX 3080 FTW3 ULTRA empowers you with!!.
Pros: Good performance Can change RGB
Cons: Serves as a heater
Overall Review: Picked this up via Newegg shuffle and it can handle any game I've played. Upgraded my monitor to a 1440p 144 hz and on games I'm not CPU bound easily been hitting the cap at ultra graphics. Coming from a 980 I didn't realize it needed 3 PCI-E power cables.
Overall Review: Out of the box without changing any settings I was getting a hot spot temp of 93° which isn't ideal, so after doing a little bit of research I decided to undervolt my GPU using MSI Afterburner. I have it running at .875v with no noticeable performance loss and the hot spot temp is 10° cooler. I strongly recommend undervolting this card.
Pros: Easy install, strong and sturdy packaging, beautiful lights.
Cons: Takes 3X8pin to power. Not ideal, but understandable for the card.
Overall Review: The performance of this card is amazing. Upgraded from a 1080 and its like night and day difference! The EVGA app is easy to use. The lights are beautiful. The fans hardly ever turn on for normal use/game usage. And I use 27 1440 monitors. Can play any title at max with no issues. An absolute dream of a card. And someday maybe Ill dabble in 4K and see what it can do.
Pros: Amazing card, you can run everything on ultra quality and with no hit in performance.
Cons: Huge card, was not prepared in terms of case size, when closing the side cover the cables get pushed down a little. Not really a con but just a note to pay attention to the case size if you decide to buy this beast. Not computable with MSI mystic light and the RGB doesnt sync with MB it is sad , but not a deal breaker for me.
Overall Review: Dont think twice about it, just slide your card and purchase it . You will not regret it .
Pros: - All is as expected. Great product. - 100% traceable shipment.
Cons: - Delivery lead time. - Imported Tax :P
Overall Review: If I have a chance then I will buy it again for sure ^_^
Extremely powerful card. Requires research if you want to OC
