Pros: Unlimited power, quiet, stays cool, and super easy to install.
Cons: Wallet ouchies
Overall Review: Great card overall and future proofs you for a while!
Pros: - Best performance you can get - Superb cooling - Best binned chips for the GA102 cards.
Cons: - Biiiiiiig - Power consumption? - BIIIIIIIIIIIG - Price
Overall Review: I love this card. I've had the 3080ti, 3090 and now the 3090ti. All from EVGA, all FTW3s. This one has exceeded my expectations in a few areas. First, the temps. After seeing the initial reviews with power consumption and temps, I was worried that in my case (Lian Li Evo) that it would have temperature issues due to the lack of airflow (waiting for a water block to go water build). That isn't the case though. Temps are great on this thing, even when overclocked to 2.2GHz and the memory running 23.5Gbps. It rarely ever sees 70c while the fans are mostly silent. In addition to that, this is the best binned chip I've had in a long time. Without any curve tuning or power modding, this thing goes up to 2.2GHz, and settles around 2175mhz once heat soaked. The memory also overclocks very well, albeit slightly worse than what I'm seeing from other people with the same card. Also, on my model, the power consumption isn't as drastic as I've seen in reviews. I have a hard time getting this thing to hit its 450w stock power limit, let alone the increased power limit of 480w. Benefit of getting a good bin I guess. The price is higher than what I paid for the 3090, but in this segment I don't think many people care. The only real downside to this thing is its short life. With the 4000 series on the horizon this isn't a GPU worth buying if you only buy once every few years. Wait for next gen.
Pros: HUUUUUUUUUUGGEE!! That means considering how power hungry and hot this is when used, a tank of heatsink is really needed! 3.25 slot i guess is the new size! Vram temp hovers 75 mining around 132mhs pulling 330w! That's .40 effeciency if you're to ask me!
Cons: Expensive but hey if you have the money... why not?!
Overall Review: Would recommend this if you don't want to mess the vram thermal pads. This is plug and go!
