Pros: - substantial boost to gaming fps at 2160p over 1080ti on 55" display
Cons: - the card is huge. almost 13 inches long and wide enough to cause problems with other expansion slots (if you have any) it is likely too big for some enclosures. - power hog; paired with an 11700k, my silverstone da800 is barely enough for some games as evidenced by the blinking power leds that gigabyte thoughtfully included on the card. i will be going to a 1000w psu to avoid untimely shutdowns or damage to the da800. - rgb management; without an aorus motherboard, you will want to research 3rd party rgb control software like openrgb to manage the rgb leds.
Overall Review: the newegg shuffle works! i got this card for 1099.99 because of the shuffle. while gigantic the Aorus 3080 Master certainly powers through demanding games like Valheim, No Man's Sky and Battlefield 5. on a 4k 55 inch TV a solid 60 fps from a single card is very much appreciated. that said, this card needs a lot of power. 800 watts is barely cutting it when paired with a 11700k processor. also when managing overclocking, if using the aorus software, remember to click the save icon after clicking the apply button if you want to change those clock settings.
Overall Review: I bought this as a combo with a b550 motherboard (the cheapest available as I already have a motherboard) and all I can say is I love it. Good price, delivered on time. Good temps on the GPU and finally my hunt for a 3080 is done.
Pros: 3080!
Cons: Plastic underside, software
Overall Review: So firstly this card runs games great. Im very thrilled with the performance of the games Ive tried it on so far (couple weeks in). I upgraded from a 1080 and can mostly get max frames except for RDR2 on highest settings. (Only game tested that hasnt hit above 120 fps on 1440p). So why the 4 star review? Well two major things knock this down. 1. Software is utterly atrocious. Gigabyte doesnt play nice with asus and icue Corsair software. I cant for whatever reason get the rgb software for gigabyte to load, online forums say to uninstall asus or Corsair software or roll back gpu driver to get it to function, but my build was built around Corsair rgb so it would be dumb to uninstall that and asus updates through their software is nice especially for mobo. So what does that mean for users? Well the lcd screen on the card cannot be changed from the chibi egg basically. I wanted the card temp to display, but cant change it since the software wont load correctly. Thankfully the temp monitor on the software does work and the highest the card hits is 70-73 Celsius. Which sounds hot, but gpu fans tend to kick on around that temp, my 1080 did that temp also, so not a concern. Many games it sits at 45C. 2. The plastic cover on the bottom next to the fans with the fancy little line decor was hanging off yesterday when I played. I pressed it back up and its holding, but cosmetically, probably would annoy people. Im more about functionality but still a con. All in all the card works as expected, Im satisfied. I got this through Newegg shuffle and honestly surprised I got it to begin with. I prefer evga products and this is my first gigabyte card. The 4 year warranty is nice and lights for power issues is also a plus granted I havent had to see them light up since my psu is a 1000 watt one. Piece of mind tho. If you can get this card, I think youd be happy with it assuming you desire a 3080
Pros: Got the card as described. The card is indeed new, unused, and have all the plastic packagings and covers.
Cons: Overpriced maybe? But what can one really do during these days.
Overall Review: The card is unused, at least in my case. Was able to get 2k 144 fps in Warzone. After 2 weeks of using, my only issue was that I need a bigger case lol.
Pros: I got it, early too (technically). Their customer support is quick to respond so thats a bonus and theyre very respectful
Cons: It was weird how they treated shipping. They will submit a tracking number that doesnt work and then update it a while later with a new tracking number that works. I dont know what theyre doing but it got me panicking that I was scammed but turns out I wasnt. Keep in mind other reviews mention this too.
Overall Review: It was pretty good. All in all it took about a month to get here (21 days to be accurate), but that snafu with the tracking number should not have happened. The products itself is an Aorous Master 3080, I dont need to explain why its good.
Pros: INSANE EXPERIENCE UNLIKE ANYTHING IVE EVER EXPERIENCED BEFORE IT COMES WITH A 4 YEAR WARRANTY I WON THE NEWEGG SHUFFLE SO I GOT IT FOR MSRP
Cons: ONLY CON WOULD BE FOR AUROUS TO UPDATE THERE SOFTWARE OTHER THEN THAT THIS CARD IS NEXT LEVEL
Overall Review: MY AROUS RTX 3080 IS PAIRED WITH A I9-10900K I AVERAGE 450-400 FPS AVERAGE MIND YOU I PLAY IN 1080 PHENOMINAL CARD SO FAR LOVE IT COULDNT BE HAPPIER YES ITS PRICEY BUT WITH A 4 YEAR WARRANTY IT WAS WORTH IT KEEP IN MIND THO I GOT THIS CARD AT MSRP AND COULDNT BE HAPPIER LOVE IT JUST GLAD A GUY LIKE ME WHO WORKS 60+HOURS A WEEK HAD A OPPUTUNITY TO BUY ONE THANKS TO THE NEWEGG SHUFFLE TOOK ME NEARLY ONE YEAR TO BE ABLE TO PURCHASE ONE BUT I WAS DEAD SET I WOULDNT PAY OVER MSRP THE WAIT WAS WORTH IT HOLD OFF IF YOU CAN AND ENTER THE SHUFFLE DAILY ITS INSANE HOW LONG IT TOOK FOR A AVID GAMER TO OBTAIN A 3080 BUT THE JUMP FROM A GTX 1080 WAS LIKE NIGHT AND DAY THANK YOU NEWEGG AND AROUS FOR ALLOWING ME TO ACTUALLY BUY A CARD AND TAKE MY GAMING EXPERIENCE TO THE NEXT LEVEL 🙏🙏🙏
Pros: This was a great price.
Cons: It is a big card, triple thick.
Overall Review: This card has a screen that plays a little video by default. I just left it on this. Works great. And looks great too.
Pros: Streamline outline (with LCD display) and great performance (I will say stardard performance in RTX 3080 series)
Cons: Very heavy in weight, expensive
Overall Review: First time to use VGA card w/ price >USD1000. No problem when 1st installation, with all RGB effect functional (including small display) Quite satified with the card design and performance. I am using 750W Power supply and it works / run without problem/ alarm (not to overclock of course)
Pros: It kind of runs one game: Borderlands 3
Cons: -Won't run New World MMO without crashing - May be a coding issue -Wattage is peaking at 350 to 380. -Junction temps are maxing out over 100 C -I had to lower the voltage to 60% to play Borderlands 3 without crashing -There's something funky going on with these 30 series cards and their power handling, but I cannot figure it out. -Gigabyte's RGB Fusion blue screened my PC until I uninstalled it.
Overall Review: I would hold off on purchasing a 30 series card for now, or at least until this whole chip shortage is over with. I am thinking that quality control is overwhelmed with the demand for GPUs at the moment. Side note. I have removed the 3080 and am now running my RTX 2060 with zero issues.
Pros: Works great for a short while and then doesnt. Great paperweight!!! Flashy rgb lights!!!!
Cons: EVENT 41 CATEGORY 63!!(THAT MEANS IT DOESNT WORK!) ARTIFACTS WHILE ON DESKTOP. GAMES FOR A MINUTE THEN THE COMPUTER FREEZES AND RESTARTS.
Overall Review: I am highly dissatisfied with this product. It took almost 2 years to track down a new card, read reviews, compare benchmarks, and make a sound decision. My pc is up to specs has an adequate power supply, cooling, and all the bells and whistles. I have to begin the RMA processes now. This is completely unacceptable and infuriating. Gigabyte you have let me down big time. As I typed this review the text on my monitor is distorting. Words cannot describe how mad I really am.
THIS CARD IS A MONSTERRR
