Pros: I love it and is a very powerful GPU.
Cons: If you don't have a laptop with a Thunderbolt Port it wont work.
Overall Review: Thankfully I have a old Macbook Pro with a Thunderbolt 3 port and it works like a charm and the graphics at 4k is breath taking.

Overall Review: Works great for 1440p gaming at max settings, and it handles vr pretty well also. Doom 2016 averaging 90fps, half life alyx set to ultra fidelity 90fps is totally playable, though I'm sure it'd be much better without the thunderbolt bandwidth limitations. Runs quiet under my desk. The included tb3 cable is way too short, but any usb3 data cable will work - I had a spare 3' cable from an external drive that gave me the length I needed. Had to download their software to disable the disco lights on the front, but they are configurable for colors, patterns, and brightness if you like that sort of thing.
Pros: Very easy to use and setup. Ive got it set up on a asus proart motherboard and it has given me no issues. runs good and cool when loaded. No thermal throttling when using msi afterburner. I also love the idea of hooking this up to my laptop and tv when Im home for playing great 4k games which I will likely be doing soon.
Cons: If you are new to thunderbolt gpu setup for a motherboard then it can take a bit of time to figure out how to set it up in bios. Not many desktop motherboards have thunderbolt ports so that annoys me.
Overall Review: Well I gave it 5 stars because I love it in every way but it really only deserves 4 since it has a hash rate limiter.

Overall Review: As of this time, I cannot recommend this product. I am in the process of returning it. I purchased the gaming box for the purpose of performing machine learning algorithms on my existing laptop versus buying or building a new PC. I currently have a 2070 Super Max-Q based laptop which is getting put through the ringer during my development. I was interesting in adding an eGPU to be able to handle more processing capabilities for what I am doing. Unfortunately the performance that I am experiencing on the 3080 Gaming Box is well below my expectations. It appears that the Gaming Box GPU clock is being throttled. When running my algorithms, I am using 41% of the GPU core and the clock rate drops to 450 MHz even though the temperature is stable at 33 C. When I benchmarked my performance it is actually 2 seconds slower than the 2070 per 1 epoch of training. In addition, when I run AI-Benchmark test on it, I am receiving the performance roughly equal to the 1080TI according the results website. Being a 3080, even though I am using the TB3 port, I was expecting more performance since the operations occur within the GPU. I have reached out to the manufacturer twice so far and have not received feedback from them as of yet. I am disappointed and I cannot recommend this Gaming Box even though it is also being marketed as an AI machine.

Cons: Gets about as much hashrate as a 3060 Ti OC, VRAM runs hotter than hell, had to take the sides off to cool down 1 degree, doesnt overclock well

Pros: Good for gaming and mining
Cons: Gets a bit toasty 104c on the mem even with an external fan blowing cool air right on it. I will probably gut the gpu and replace paste and pads.
Overall Review: Got an RTX 3080 at a decent price in todays market. Mines Ravencoin at 44+ MH/S
Pros: Nice enclosure, very quiet but you better have a Thunderbolt interface and not just USB3.1 or 2 to your system to recognize it.
Cons: BEWARE This is a LHR card
Overall Review: I bought this to do Crypto Mining, thought it was a great idea because it was self water cooled and full enclosed with some of the reviews on YouTube the 3080 is a good choice. No where does it say this is and LHR Card per the information provided by NewEgg on this site. It only tells you this is and LHR (Low Hashing Rate) On the bottom of the Box. Anything Rev2.0 avoid.
