Pros: -runs all my games at maxed, while running 2 monitors and a VR headset -runs super cool, from 50C to 55C under load -RGB - quiet, large fans keep the card cool without sounding like a jet engine
Cons: - huge card, takes up almost 4 slots, covers all but one pci-e x1 slot on my motherboard - power adapter works but is ugly - overpriced when compared to AMD cards - barely fits in a corsair 4000D (but it does!)
Overall Review: Honestly, it's a beast of a card in multiple ways. After not being able to get my hands on a 4090, i figured this would be something i could actually buy. I would definitely buy this card again, even if the "value" is better elsewhere, as i had a 2070 super and it was time for an upgrade. It's been quiet, the RGB is tastefull, and it feels good to actually fill out a case with hardware this big. I've been trying all of my most demanding games and have been enjoying the ability to max them all out and not see low frame rates in anything.
Pros: What isn't there to like from this GPU? It comes with everything right? It's massive. It barely fit in My Corsair iCue 465X. I'd recommend a larger case for this like a Corsair 5000X or bigger. You'll definitely want the extra room. The mounting bracket for this was cake. It works well. When it comes to performance, this was definitely the 2nd fastet GPU money could have bought at the time. My friend asked me, can it play Crysis? Yes. Why yes it can. Probably at 8K too. Most of my games received 200 to 300% performance boost coming from a 2070. It was a big leap.
Cons: This card is massive. It's the biggest GPU I have ever seen. I thought this 2070 was massive. This thing is gargantuan. Power consumption requires at least an 850W PSU. Oh and price. It seems to me that my whole gaming rig from 4 years ago cost as much as this GPU. It's not the 4090. I wanted a 4090 but got tired of waiting for the prices to come down or for it to become available.
Overall Review: I would recommend that people wait for the price to comedown before getting this. If you can get a 4090 at retail, probably just do that. It's not a particular good buy but it's great that you can put one in your cart and get it to your door. With this card being about 73% of the speed of the 4090, It's good enough for government.
Pros: Plays all games at max settings without issue. Runs cool and quiet. Comes with a well thought out anti sag bracket.
Cons: Its huge! The 12 v plug is on the side which may interfere with the side panel on some cases.
Overall Review: Overall this is an excellent card. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a gpu upgrade. The msrp this generation may not be ideal but its available and not marked up. I say if you can afford it buy it. You wont be disappointed.
Pros: Really incredible performance and performs incredibly while streaming and recording. Runs very cool and quiet.
Cons: The price and the size. It was so big it didnt fit in my fractal torrent compact, unless I took out one of the front fans.
Overall Review: Awesome
Pros: Fast, quiet, looks great. I had a 3080 before this and it sounded like a jet whenever I played a game. Half the time Im playing a game now the fans actually turn off.
Cons: Should be a bit cheaper than it is.
Overall Review: I had the same problem some of these other people did with the card not posting at first. The problem was that I had to turn rebar support off in the bios to get it running. Weird thing is once it got going I turned rebar back on and it was fine. But I hope those other people figured it out. Im loving my 4080.
Pros: Working really great
Cons: Price is too high.
Overall Review: One note. Maybe it's just my mobo (Asus Prime z790-A WiFi), but the support bracket this card comes with, installed as directed, is just a liiittle wide on one corner. Enough that it blocks the USB header for the case ports. I filed it down a couple mm's though and it's fine now.
Pros: ALWAYS HAVE HAD GOOD LUCK WITH GIGABYTE CARDS EXTREMELY FAST WELL BUILT GREAT OVERCLOCKER IT RUNS SUPER COOL AND QUIET IT FEELS WEIRD FINALLY TO HAVE A GPU THAT CAN EXCEED MY PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS
Cons: HARD NOT TO FEEL LIKE I WAS EXTORTED I REALLY DESPISE NVIDIA'S SHADY WAYS AND HOPE SOMEDAY THEY ARE HUMBLED. THEY ARE LIKE THE GOVERNMENT, YOU DON'T PAY TAXES THEY TAKE TAXES
Overall Review: WHILE I AM GRATEFUL I CAN AFFORD ONE OF THESE AT RELEASE, I'M GLAD I DIDN'T GET SCALPED LIKE THE 3080 DISASTER. GLAD THOSE SCALPERS ARE LITERALLY TAKING NET LOSSES AFTER FLEABAY'S SELLER "EXTORTION" FEES "GLAD I COULD HELP PAY FOR JENSEN'S LEATHER JACKET, MAYBE NEXT YEAR WE CAN GET HIM ONE THAT FITS"
Pros: nothing positive
Cons: it did not work, i did all the installation correctly but it never showed image, i disconnected this 4080 and reinstalled my RTX 3090 and it worked, i disconnected my RTX 3090 again and connected this 4080 and indeed it did not work no image on the monitor
Overall Review: The computer can be seen turning on normally but this graphics card does not show images on the monitor, my power supply is 1000w, and my motherboard is an Asus rog Maximus z690 formula, 100% compatible with this video card

Pros: Gives great performance. Runs really cool and very power efficient. Looks great in case. Sag without bracket is minimal.
Cons: Couldnt get the anti-sag bracket attached, not sure if it was user error or what. Had to adjust the fan curve due to the card only use one fan under load that made it extremely loud (fixed now). The gigabyte RGB software kinda sucks, but not the cards fault.
Overall Review: Overall I would purchase again and recommend the card to some who is ready to pay the premium. It has been a great card so far!
Pros: It's fast, it's quiet and it runs very cool
Cons: Get a Blank Screen Gigabyte Control Center so no Fan or RGB Control Blank Home Screen on Gigabyte Control Center. I have uninstalled and reinstalled this to no avail. It does not show my video card, lighting control, fan control etc.. I have screen shots if needed. Windows 11 22H2(OS Build 22621.963) From the information screen: Gigabyte Control Center GCC component Software 22.12.08.01 RGB Fusion GCC component Software 22.11.28.01 Gigabyte VGA tool GCC component software 22.12.27.01
Overall Review: Dinging them hard for the Control center problems .Gigabyte Control center is worthless as far as i can tell since i can't seem to get it to work. I will revisit this if Gigabyte can sole this with me. Performance is as expected it's huge it's to expensive
