Pros: - AMD Smart Access Memory (Resizeable Bar) if paired with a 5000 series processor. - The triple-fan design on this card keeps it extremely cool even under full load. - Runs at 1440p with a frame rate that is at least 60 FPS in most games I have tested it with. (My card is paired with a Free-Sync Monitor, so your performance with non-Free-Sync, A-Sync, or G-Sync monitors may vary from my results).
Cons: - No technical cons that I've seen so far. - It's a bit overpriced for what you are getting compared to price per performance of the rx 6800 xt and comparable NVIDIA cards. Particularly it has 20 less compute cores than the rx 6800 xt, though AMD's raytracing hardware is still young so I doubt this matters much to those who are going to go with AMD anyways. - It has no Tensor Cores and no real equivalent of the DLSS technology that NVIDIA employs. I don't particularly consider this too big of a drawback personally as it has the frame rate performances that are adequate for 1440p gaming. However, it is unfortunate as an independent software developer interested in developing AI applications. This is a bit of a Niche con and not too important to average consumers of this product.
Overall Review: I upgraded to this card from a Vega 64. It has shown a massive increase in performance, which is expected. The biggest thing is that this is the first card I've owned which has decent frame rates at 1440p on a lot of games. Mine is paired with AMD's 5800x processor so I get to take advantage of the Smart Access Memory technology (Make sure to turn on Resizeable Bar in the Bios). I turned it on and the advertised performance increases are there, they say 3% to 7% but I have seen up to 10% performance increase in some games, though less in others.
Pros: Great performance with most games i play, particularly riftbreaker. Huge improvement over my 2060 super, but ray tracing performance is actually worse. Lol. WGAF.
Cons: Ever so often, I get what looks like a white screen of snow. Like an old time TV with no antenna plugged in. It happens randomly browsing the web, doing work watching a video. Never noticed while playing a game. Updated all drivers, bios and even firmware of graphics card. Still happening. Turned off freesync on my monitors and it actually got worse. (WTH) This is my second 6700xt and honestly, for the price these are great. But no so long ago, 500ish usd was the price of a top tier or second best gpu. Now its the price of a mid tier card. How times have changed.
Overall Review: The 6700xt is good bang for the buck, however, the gigabyte eagle model seems to be a mixed bag in terms of quality control.
Overall Review: The price finally got below MSRP so I was able to swap out my Radeon 580 for this one. Plugged it in and it started right up. Now I am playing Ace Combat at 2K at about 65 fps. Perfect.
Overall Review: Moved up from the 5700xt, this card blows it out of the water, crushes 1440p
Pros: - Smallest triple-fan 6700xt - 2 HDMI and 2 DisplayPort, whereas most are 1 HDMI and 3 DisplayPort - orderly dual-slot size - Runs quiet and keeps a healthy temperature - Sturdy, no frills, still attractive
Cons: - I don't care about RGB, but the light panel on this card is comically small. Made me giggle.
Overall Review: This card is here to do a job, which is why I got it. There is nothing extra or glamorous about it. Just a clean and simple look. It fits nicely in a Fractal Design Core 1100 - one of the smaller MicroATX towers on the market. I recommend using two 2.5" drives (SSD or HDD doesn't matter) in the top and bottom positions for the best fit - or no drives at all if you prefer! A 3.5" HDD will fit in the top position, but it will be a tight fit and I don't know if it would like sitting so snugly next to the GPU's exhaust hole. The card will not fit with a 3.5" HDD in the bottom position. I have yet to play around with overclocking, but this thing has been running at a healthy temperature in Horizon Zero Dawn and Borderlands 3 at 1440p 144hz. Buttery smooth, too. Looking forward to further testing over the summer.
Pros: - Runs quiet - Overclocks well - When playing games, I can barely hear the fans spinning. The GPU temperature stays around 70C with the fans spinning at 2300RPM (about 60%)
Cons: None for the price
Overall Review: I am happy with this product.
Pros: -Works very quite -Temperatures are pretty low -No lags or problems -Good RGB option
Cons: -Needs bigger Case for good ventilation -Its Gigabyte so don't install RGB Fusion, it might cause you random Problems and BSODs
Overall Review: I will recommend this GPU for its price 8.5/10
Pros: As advertised can play basically any game in 1440p on high settings Decent cooling for an AMD GPU
Cons: Only con is underwhelming RGB
Overall Review: If you are trying on getting into 1440p gaming and need a new GPU, give this beast a try. I do wish the RGB strip was better though.
Overall Review: Performs as expected; however, the noise level is unacceptable. Within 1 month, at least one of the fans started rattling like crazy under load. After 3 months, at least one of the fans now emits an unholy grinding noise under load. I would advise avoiding this model at all costs.
