Pros: Performance is excellent. Chews through games at 4K while staying cool and quiet, max temperature I've seen is 63C on the core, but the junction temperature will climb up to 100C if you push the power limit way out. With the default OC bios, the card will run at around 2.7GHz, but an auto-undervolt in Adrenalin, it can pull itself up to 2.9GHz. With manual tweaking, I have been able to get it very slightly over 3GHz for short bursts. Not sure how good of a chip I got, but I'm impressed with the clocks in general. Nearly 400MHz over the advertised boost is some of the best overclocking headroom I've seen on a card in years and it's on a pre-overclocked card to boot. I thought the card looked kind of bland from the pictures, but once it's in your system and powered up, it looks beautiful. I'm not too into RGB one way or the other, but I have to admit the glowing "AORUS" logos and particularly the RGB effect on the fans make the card look very striking. The color of the backplate and fan shroud are both much different that what you see here on Newegg. More of a gunmetal and black rather than a flat gray color, I like it. The included brace takes a bit of time to put on, but it's very solid and keep the card rigid in the slot. Has 2x HDMI 2.1 ports, which is a major plus for me. I'm running an LG G1 for my main monitor and I use a VR headset that is also HDMI and most of the 7900 XTX cards only have a single HDMI except for the Gigabyte and the Sapphire cards with custom coolers.

Cons: Power hungry. The default OC bios pulls 400 watts and just playing with a bit of overclocking in the Adrenalin software, I got up to 445 watts. I have an 850 watt power supply and I haven't seen any stability issues yet, but I could see that being a problem with a system that has a CPU that pulls a ton of wattage, too. Big and heavy. Thought I might get away without using the included brace, but that wasn't going to happen. After a short while I could see it possibly damaging a PCI-E slot with all the torque it would put on the slot with the far end unsupported. It was not as easy to remove my old card and put this one in place as cards I've swapped in the past, but it wasn't overly difficult by any means, just an extra step or two to get the brace mounted to the case and card. The card barely fit into my case, but I measured before I purchased it and knew what I was getting into, had about a half an inch between the far edge of the card and my front intake fans. Eats up 4 slots, basically. Only has 2 DP 2.1 ports, wish they could have included 3 and the extra HDMI port. It's expensive for a graphics card and it's a poor value compared to older cards that have dropped in price. I can see the price of these cards dropping in the near future as well if Nvidia makes any price adjustments to their product lineup, so early adopters may end up paying a premium if that happens.

Overall Review: Overall, I'm impressed, so far. It's not the top performing card, but it's coming in at nearly half the price for around 80-90% of the performance. There are negative things about the card, but in general, it seems to be a very solid product and I can't see docking points for anything that I've experienced so far. 5/5 Eggs. This is my first AMD GPU in a long, long time. While I won't say I've been a diehard Nvidia fan, I've just always leaned towards their products in the past, mostly because AMD seemed to have supply issues whenever I tried to purchase one of their cards near launch. This time around the 7900 XTX ticked all the right boxes for me. Great performance at a lower price than what Nvidia is offering at around this price point and I was able to find one in stock without a ton of headaches. As it stands, I think AMD has the better software driver package, everything is rolled together into one neat package instead of having to deal with Geforce Experience. Raytracing performance on this card isn't great, but I feel like it's a gimmick at the moment. In the future, it's going to be the way games are made, but right now it's just a tacked on "feature" that murders performance on basically any card without some sort of resolution upscaling. It's cool and I look forward to the future with fully path-traced games, but it's just not ready for prime time. I think Nvidia is drastically over-playing their raytracing advantage, also. Once everyone starts to ship their Unreal Engine 5 games using Lumin instead of RTX, I think we're going to see the gap narrow substantially. I hadn't played with FSR much until now and I have to say, with 2.0 it seems to be nearly a match for DLSS 2.0 but maybe just a touch softer. Didn't realize how close it had become until I actually used it. I'd recommend this card to anyone that is already planning to buy a card for more than a grand, but can't stomach paying almost twice that much for 20%ish more performance. It's well built, looks nice and performs well. It's early days for me, but hopefully it's a card that will last me a couple of years until I'm ready to upgrade and maybe by then graphics cards won't be starting eye-watering prices.

Pros: Fast as $hiznit. Even undervolting and running in CPU in ECO mode (PBO), card does not disappoint.

Cons: Size! make sure your case has enough room as card with the included braces/bracket takes up a far amount of space. Kiss goodbye to any other expansion slot (takes up 4 usable slots)

Overall Review: Happy with the card, disappointed (again) in NewEgg's (questionable) return policies..where plaster "No Hassle" all over the site, right up until checkout. Here's to hoping never have to return it. Reminds me why I havent ordered for last 5 years

Pros: GPU is beast! And it looks beautiful

Cons: Appears to have abvapor chamber issue, 40-50 degree differences between Junction temp and gpu temps. Peaking Junction temps of 110. Emailed Gigabyte support the day after I received the card with still no response.

Overall Review: No, until I can get a response from Gigabyte or maybe Newegg.

Cons: RX 7900 XTX ELITE 24G won't turn on. No lights & no fans. When I switch the monitor cable to MB DP out, PC will start & works normally. I've tried BIOS switch in both OC & Silent mode = no response in either choice. I've tried 2 different sets of PSU power cables - no change. I've tested all cables - 12VDC on 3 pins on each of 3 8 pin connectors

Cons: Lasted a day Spent a week trying to it working via drivers, testing PSU, repairing windows, and ultimate had multiple hardware errors. I requested a replacement and sent the card back about a week ago and ended up with a refund. Ill try the card one more time when I can get my hands on one. If Im able to snag one soon or get a replacement then I will change the review accordingly.

Overall Review: Finally making the jump from Nvidia to amd. Didnt regret it the day this card worked. Hopefully I dont in the long run.

Overall Review: I have used AMD CPUs for a decade but was never impressed by the GPU offerings. The release of the AMD Radeon RX-7900-XTX did catch my interest with the claims of performance when paired with an AMD CPU. I watched and researched what I could find. Then I saw that Gigabyte would be offering an Aorus Elite version. I had an Aorus Master GPU which offers the LCD screen but decided I was okay with not having that option. Newegg had stock available so I put in an order. The hardware install took some effort. I hoped I would not need the anti-sag bracket since my previous card is nearly the same size. I learned quickly this was a wrong assumption. I started to read the quick start install guide. The image of the bracket (credit to HZ) is the one in the box. The stand offs come in two thread types and were not hard to install. This ends the easy part of the install. The "h" shaped bracket has small mounting holes, and the screws a not much bigger. In a new build this might be easier, but not in a built system. I eventually got this installed, but the SATA ports sit tightly inside the bracket as well as routed cables. The other challenge is seating the card in your PCIe slot while keeping the bracket properly aligned. My close up of the card end bracket and the "h" bracket might help to see the limited space allowed. The card end bracket has to be under the "h" bracket which makes for a hard time of seating the card. The card also is rather wide and made for a challenge when securing the PCIe slot screws. The card bracket flares out and makes for a tight spot for the thumb screw. Honestly though the card is quite solid once you get the bracket and card tightened in proper. I have not used AMD software or Gigabyte AMD software very much. So there was a learning curve to overcome. I did eventually learn what AMD settings translate to my previous Nvida preferences. A hard one was why the SAM feature was not activated yet Rebar was activated in BIOS. Eventually learned that CSM must be off for AMD SAM to work. Once disabled Win 10 had to reinstall a few things and evertything was working. I then used suggested settings that Jayz2Cents had shared on YouTube. Unigine Superposition results in the picture are about equal to others results. So GPU clock is 2900 MHz with temp at 29C idle 65C active in a room with average temp of 22C. My limited play time so far is on par with non RT games around 140 FPS at 1440p, and RT games around 75 FPS at 1440p. I have not tried out FSR yet since I was more interested in the raw performance for now. Minor grumble was having to use the GCC software to set the RGB. I was hoping that Aorus Engine would work, but even RBG Fusion does not see the card unless you use the GCC version. Hoping Gigabyte improve the GCC feature so they offer more of the options the former apps had. Overall the Gigabyte Radeon RX-7900-XTX Elite gets a thumbs up. I honestly was not expecting much, but I may keep this card as my primary GPU rather then a back up card. The value due to performance to price is rather decent in my opinion. I had looked at the RTX 4080, but the only upside was some RT performance at a higher price point. The RTX 4070ti is closer in price but performance would have been less (equal to my old card). I currently am not playing RT games much and expect AMD will improve performance for RT eventually. I would suggest any Ryzen users to consider a Radeon RX-7900-XTX (maybe even a XT) if you would like a performance boost at a good value.

Overall Review: I'm overall pleased with this GPU. I've seen a huge improvement in framerates even running 1080p with a Ryzen 5 7600X. My only complaints are that it won't vertical mount with the included slots in my Corsair 5000X case. The cooler is too tall. A cablemod vertical mount kit will fix that though. The software to customize the RGB was a bit of a pain to install and get working.

Cons: Software does not work at all. RGB does what it wants whenever it feels like it. The anti-sag bracket is two complicated pieces which requires you to attach it to the motherboard standoffs so if you have something like a Rog Stix with the quick release button for the PCIE slot it won't fit. It feels cheap. Newegg doesn't accept returns on this item which should be illegal. I'm not a scalper and this isn't a 4080 so relax.

Overall Review: I know it feels like every XTX is sold out at the moment but if you see this card available don't instantly add to cart, wait for one with actual product support and software.
