Pros: - Ridiculous amount of VRAM - A good 4k card but an elite-tier 144hz+ @ 1440p GPU - No coil whine whatsoever - Delightful but limited zero-rpm fan mode (more details on this later) - Easy to manage RGB - Fantastic aesthetics, especially when vertically mounted - Decent temps at full benchmark loads/gaming (max 73C) - Amazingly quiet card, even at full load.
Cons: - Garbage-tier, awful overclocker. Power limits are set to 103% (385w), this is due to MSI's choice of components on this card that are barebones at best. It has trash-tier, 14-phase VRMs that output up to 630A compared to the FE edition at 1120A and the Asus Strix at 1080A, both with 16-phase designs. - Zero RPM fan mode CANNOT be used with a custom 0% Afterburner fan curve. Read this carefully: you cannot have BOTH zero-rpm fan mode AND a custom fan curve that starts at 0% rpm. Afterburner will default to the standard 30% minimum rpm, which renders the zero mode pointless.
Overall Review: Buy this if the list of pros appeals to you. Don't if the listed cons annoy you. Yes, this card needs a triple 8-pin because of the power delivery layout on the PCB. Each 8-pin can pull roughly 125w from the psu along with up to 75w from the pcie slot, totaling a max power draw of 450w. Sadly, you won't ever get anywhere near these numbers because of the VRM design, which again, is garbage tier. You'll get far, FAR better overclocking from literally any other card, except for the Zotac. Lookup "O!Technology" on YouTube for a nice review on the PCBs of the 3090 line-up for additional comments. All this said, I love the card. I don't care to overclock it after some thought because tbh, this GPU is so fast to begin with. It looks fantastic in my Lian-Li 011 XL case and it's as quiet as a mouse. Would buy again but would instantly advise against it for overclockers and tinkerers alike.
Overall Review: Excelent

Pros: This GPU is awesome! Handles anything i throw at it with the added bonus that it heats up my entire room while it stays at a cool 68°!
Cons: Price, they should have kept it in the same price/power ratio as the other 30 series.
Overall Review: Jokes a side its a good GPU I'd prefer the 3080 which rivals this one especially at this price point. But since the 3080 is going for almost the same as a 3090 and I had the opportunity to purchase the 3090 I just went with this. Still a great GPU I can stream warzone without dips on 1920x1080 144 hz which my 1080ti struggled tremendously! This work horse of a GPU spits out flames, I have my desktop under my desk i have 11 fans 6 with a push pull config on a water cooler and an exhaust fans on 1 on the back and 1 on the top and 3 more pushing from the bottom, maybe need to mount my desktop away from me lol but my body is nice and toasty for winter!
Pros: - Decimates anything you decide to throw at it, regardless of whether or not you're running it in 720p or 4K. - Mystic Light RGB syncs with RGB colors via RGB chip and software. - Upscale AI is blazingly fast on this card. - Ray Tracing seems to impact frames very little, this card just chugs right along. - Comes with a bracket, 'cause MSI knows it's heavy.
Cons: - Fans are really loud under load. - Card tops out at about 76°C under intense load, you'll need bacon and eggs, 'cause it's hot enough to cook you breakfast (DISCLAIMER: Please do not cook food on your GPU). - Chonky, heavy, long and thicc. I have about an inch of clearance between my card and my HDD dock in a Phanteks Enthoo Pro case. - SERIOUSLY power-hungry card. It can pull 360-400W under load, easily.
Overall Review: First off, I have had the card a little over three weeks now; and have not experienced any of the artifact issues mentioned by other reviewers, so it is possible they got part of a bad batch (I took some engineering classes in high school some time back and they can have whole wafers of silicon chips that didn't make the cut and they get tossed or recycled, but some can still bleed through, it happens). Secondly, if you are lucky enough to get your hands on any variant of the 3090 series, know that depending on your PSU and how old it is, it may not be enough. I had a CoolerMaster V850 Gold 850W while running a 3060, and everything was peachy-keen, but since upgrading to this card, the transient voltage spikes were too much for my 'ol CoolerMaster to handle (almost an eight year old PSU). I ended up having to get a Corsair RM1000x and it works dandy, so just be sure that you have a PSU that's up to the task. Aside from the above, I am very happy with my purchase, and with the 4000 series on the horizon and SAMSUNG opening some new factories, I'm sure the chip shortage will resolve itself soon and everyone will have a chance to get one of these bad boys at a decent price (one can dream, right). THANK YOU NEWEGG SHUFFLE!

Pros: Very powerfull card can play all the games Very quiet Make gaming so fun RGB very nice on the card Hope to enjoy it for a long time Thanks MSI for doing nice products
Overall Review: Go for it all the way
Pros: - Fast card.
Cons: - Runs hotter than the surface of the sun. - No recent BIOS updates or support - Somewhat unstable at higher temperatures, lots of screen flickering as it re-negotiates resolutions.
Overall Review: While the card runs OK, it lacks decent BIOS update support for the card's vBIOS from MSI. They've changed their VBIOS support to either have to use their terrible bloaty system software or forcing you to contact support for VBIOS updates. After contacting support I got a biolerplate response of "Have you re-seated the card and tried driver updates", etc. Yes. Even stated that I'm looking for the newest VBIOS since I knew there was one, and they stopped responding to me altogether, even after trying to get their attention for 2-3 months afterwards. I had the opportunity to buy the same card, only through EVGA (3090 FTW3), plugged it in, updated it's VBIOS and everything runs amazingly. So this card is sadly sitting in a box after 3-4 months of use and it'll be the last non-motherboard I'll buy from MSI.

Cons: Delivered late, not functioning
Overall Review: I received the card at middle of Jan 2022, which is already late for the estimate delivered date. And after two months of nicely use the card (no overclocking, no bump, keep everything cool) the graphics card continually cause restarts and getting worse every times my pc restarted. I am glad I purchased the warranty for it or I have to pay extra money for this piece of st. BTW. It takes more than three days to register the warranty because the warranty website cannot find my warranty from Newegg. I am still waiting for the registration process, and THX Newegg and Msi make my days GREAT(if you truly believe it) PS: I remembered when I received the card, there has no protection other than a plastic bag.

Pros: It's fast, and handles 4k and rtx like a champ, temps cooler than my 1080ti.
Cons: It's huge, like comically huge. Didn't fit my meshify c with the front fan in. Ordered a noctua slim and had about 1-2mm of leeway.
Overall Review: I actually got one, after two weeks of refreshing pages I was fast enough to add it to cart without it going through and telling me it was out of stock hours later.
Pros: -It can run Crysis!
Cons: -She a little bit thicc
Overall Review: -Great card, but good luck snagging one
Pros: This card manages to keep nice and cool in the most demanding conditions I've tested it in. I dont know how they do it with that much heat generated by this card, but it works very well. Zero stability or other issues from day one. Flawless.
Cons: Support bracket supplied with card does not support the card at all.
Overall Review: 3090 with all its power and all its flaws. Consumes a LOT of power and generates a LOT of heat. Well over 13 inches long so your case choices will be limited. 3 8 pin connectors doesn't matter because any power supply sufficient to power this likely has at least 4 8 pin connectors. I would recommend 850 watt MINIMUM power supply. This is not worth the money over a 3080 for gaming alone so don't buy it for just gaming. It does keep cool enough. And does run totally stable without issues. Nvidia really needs to update their software package. I swear the interface looks just like it did in 2006.
Insanely powerful GPU. Power hungry though.
