Pros: Prices are supposed to come down (good for you as a potential buyer) Accepts a 3050mhz (3ghz!!) clock completely stable out of the box. At least for me. I rarely see temps over 61c and usually not for long. I rarely see more than a 220-240w draw. Id say mostly 190-210w Typically hangs out 56-59c in game completely silent. I game at 3440x1440, the difference between this and a 4090 at 1440p is much lesser than 4k. Absolutely washes my 6950xt in games and rendering. 200ish fps in mw2 (+- 10fps) Cyberpunk a game I thought Id never buy runs around 80-85 fps maxed out with psycho raytracing. Paired with the Alienware OLED its breathtaking for a game. There is a million good things I could say about the cars. Time for the bad.
Cons: Its not a 4090 so you cant flex You will be hated for purchasing it, especially on Reddit You should have disposable income to buy it, the 6950xt got 140fps in MW2 vs this 200 fps which is not a perceivable difference on 175hz monitor, at least to my eye. I had a ton of crashing at first until I reinstalled some things and did some workarounds. It may be user error as maybe I didnt wipe the AMD drivers properly. However it runs absolutely fine now. Its expensive. The 4090 is better performance per dollar. Its not a 4090. Did I mention people will crucify you for buying it?
Overall Review: If youre struggling to find a 4090, game on less than 4k and dont mind spending a lot of money? This non flagship card will blow you away. Its reportedly coming down in prices. Scalpers cant sell them and are having to sell at MSRP. If you have some patience you may be able to snag one of these and I can honestly say I doubt youll be disappointed. Coming from a flagship card, the 6950xt which was actually the MOST STABLE. Ill say again, my AMD card was the most stable gpu I have EVER had. Bar none. (Also consider gpu die lottery, I bet I got lucky) If youre like me and youre willing to buy a 1300 dollar monitor and 64gb of ram then this card is likely in your price range and Id you find one at or below MSRP I can actually recommend it. Should you get a 4090 instead? Well I wouldve if I couldve found one for MSRP but the impatience of adding it to my cart only to be sold out after I order it got to me and I gave in. I refuse to pay a scalper, if nvidia is scalping prices well then I can only take that loss once. But thats up to you. In the end, this card isnt for everybody but I am absolutely pleased with it and no longer find myself refreshing 15 websites over and over trying to find a 4090. If you want performance per dollar, I dont know why people dont talk about it but a 6950xt meets and/or beats a 3090 ti in everything but raytracing and some render applications. And 3090 ti prices are still insane, while a 6950xt can be had for close to 800 if you find a good deal. I did. Post question on this page above and I may be able to answer some. I know theres a lot of hate for nvidia right now and I too finally agree as an AMD simp. This is my first nvidia card ever and my first intel chip since the forbidden fx-8350 came out paired with a 7970 which was actually decent for the time. (The gpu not the CPU) This is a long review and Im sorry but I hope it was helpful. And if youre reading this as someone who is refusing to buy the card to hurt nvidia. I have failed you, but I had a massive budget for this build and wanted to give the newest stuff a go. Im sure Ill have a 7900xtx and in a week later Ill either sell it for a hundred bucks less then I got it and make someones day scoring a brand new card or Ill make someones day scoring a heavily discounted couple week old top of the line 4080 card from MSI. Please MSI you have to make a Suprim line for AMD cards. My trio X 6950xt was fantastic and quiet. But I drool over this card. If youre here to compare this to other 4080s MSI Suprime costs considerable less than the ASUS strix. seems theyre trying to get in the frenzy and profit while they can. MSI is the way to go. I got my first MSI card as a 6950 and it blew me away. I was a sapphire man before that and their reputation precedes them but for me. Accidental MSI fanboy after these too cards.

Pros: Beats former 3090TI. Runs cool and quiet. Noise is minimal even under full load. Outstanding Raytracing performance.
Cons: Well, it's not a 4090, but does run games in 4k at max settings at good fps.
Overall Review: I would recommend this product to anyone looking to upgrade from a 2080, 3080, or even a 3090TI.

Pros: - Great temperature management / cooling design - I have it set to the default "silent" BIOS mode and for the most part, the card is completely noiseless (my understanding is that the fans either aren't engaged at all or spin with very low RPM)! But it's also very quiet even under a heavy load (the level of noise is somewhat noticeable, but definitely not to the level it's annoying and you kind of stop noticing it after few minutes). It also never runs too hot either. My old MSI GeForce GTX 1070 Ti wasn't particularly loud or hot either, but this one (to my surprise) is a lot quieter/cooler. - Performs as expected - Comes with an arm to support the card weight
Cons: - Requires three 8 pin PCIe connectors, which shouldn't really be a problem for any good PSU (i.e. in terms of having enough "spare" PCIe slots/connectors after everything else is connected to the PSU), but that's something to keep in mind. I actually needed to find the box PSU came in originally to get and attach 2 additional connector cables - I never needed that many before, but with this graphics card needing 3 PCIe connectors instead of just 1 (compared to my old card), I was lucky I invested into a good PSU with enough spare PCIe slots/connectors and enough power to drive this power hungry card :) - The card is quite bulky and heavy, while the weight support arm it comes with is rather finicky to install and not looking reliable enough - The price, of course! I purchased b/c I've been waiting for too long to upgrade already and actually needed a new card to drive my new hi-res/hi-refresh-rate monitor, but as many reviewers pointed out, GeForce RTX 4080 doesn't seem to represent a great value... At least, not in the version of reality where the MSRPs are real and all the graphics card offers are in stock, that is :) One might be better off getting a Radeon 7900 XTX instead of GeForce RTX 4080, but to be honest, I don't regret it anyways, taking into account how quiet and cool this card is (and there're some reviews/reports for the reference Radeon 7900 XTX that seem to complain about the temperature and fan noise levels... though manufacturer partner cards will probably/hopefully provide some improvement there)
Overall Review: Without taking the price into account, I am very happy with the product itself. All in all, based on the current market situation, I do not regret the purchase, even though I do think the GeForce RTX 4080 based graphics cards are overpriced (i.e. aren't the best value) in general.

Pros: I've owned ASUS/EVGA cards in the past. This is my first MSI card and it works flawlessly. Runs cool and quiet at 4K. I also appreciate the dual BIOS switch. Good job MSI.
Cons: None.
Overall Review: A premium RTX 4080 at a reasonable(cough, cough) price.

Pros: -Perfect for 3440x1440 or higher -Runs very cool! -Lot of headroom -Comes with mouse pad and gpu stability stand
Cons: -Giant
Overall Review: -This card is amazing in terms of speed. Sure dollar for dollar, you aren't going to be getting as much performance as you would with an RTX 4090 at stock MSRP, but show me where to find one at stock MSRP. This performs exceptionally well and stays in-line with the standard performance increase we normally see between new families of NVIDIA cards. Between the RTX 2080 and the RTX 3080, we saw a performance increase of 50%+ ... with this new 4080, over the 3080, we also see a 50%+ performance increase, for less money than what the 3090 was selling for. It's a great deal at a reasonable price if you can find it without paying scalpers. MSI outdid themselves with the styling, lighting, and cooling design when they made this new Suprim card - my only wish is that for the price, they would have included an MSI dragon plush or coupon for a t-shirt. I've always been an EVGA guy (for GPUs). This is my first time buying an MSI GPU, and have to say that I'm thoroughly impressed with their build quality. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat.

Pros: Nice Looking Powerful for gaming More power efficient that the previous generation
Cons: Price Size No angled adaptors in the box
Overall Review: I replaced a 3080 10GB with this card. The 1440p fps went up about 25-30% across the board but that isnt the best part. It has this enhanced performance while running at 110w less that the 3080 it replaced. This doesnt sound like much but when you have two computers in the same room a savings of 220w makes a difference in the heat in the room. Due to the size of this card, the side panel of my LIan Li 011Dynamic would not close with the included 12pin adaptor, forcing me to purchase one elsewhere. These card manufacturers know darn well that the included adaptors are garbage. They should have to include a 90 or 180 adaptor in the box.

Pros: - I was able to easily overclock this with +150/+1000 which results in roughly a 3000mhz stable core clock while gaming. Power consumption did go up a bit, but it's not a concern with the massive cooler and the fans are still VERY quiet. I rarely see any games using more than 300 watts, which is pretty crazy considering the performance. Even with the overclock I still rarely ever see the fans go over 1500rpm, and this inside of a Define 7 case which is not exactly optimized for high airflow to say the least. I've not heard one whisper of coil whine, which is extremely impressive. Part of this might be due to having my FPS driver capped at 141 fps, and also might be due to the Seasonic Vertex ATX 3.0 PSU I just got. Honestly I haven't even tried the more aggressive fan tuned Gaming BIOS, because temps and noise are just not an issue, even with the manual overclock and less than ideal airflow in my case. I'm using it an an X570S Carbon Max Wifi board with a 5800X3d, and the card matches the astetics of the MB perfectly, and as a bonus I can use MSI Center software to control the lighting on the card as well as the board, and the MSI center software actually doesn't suck (side eye to Armoury Crate...)
Cons: It's not a 4090? Looking at reviews and benchmarks for the games I'm actually playing, at 3440x1440, the 4090 is definitely faster, and has 24gb vram which is not overkill when playing at high resolution with ray-tracing maxed out. Honestly, 16gb vram feels cheap for a card this expensive, for the money this cost it feels like Nvidia could've equipped the 4080 with 20GB to match the 7900XT. Granted we're talking about GDDR6X which is A LOT more power hungry, but still. 16GB feels like a cut.
Overall Review: I've wanted a Suprim X card ever since MSI first launched the line with the 30 series. I was never able to catch one of them in stock at anywhere close to MSRP, but, things being what they are, the 4080 cards, even the top end premium models like the Suprim X and Strix, are regularly in stock at MSRP. I'm still kind of conflicted with the price vs the 4090. When all was said and done, with tax and shipping, this cost me nearly $1500. That's a $300 premium over the founders edition, and more importantly that's the same MSRP as the 4090 founders edition. The problem is, the 4090 founders is impossible to find. The value of the 4080 vs the 4090 is not lost on me, I get it. That being said, having bought a 4080, I don't regret getting one of the best models available, second only to MAYBE the Strix.

Cons: I didnt get my free hdmi cable
Overall Review: Nice card, massive and metallic

Pros: Looks good in my case Very sturdy design. Things a tank
Cons: Booted to windows one time then all display signals cut out. Put in multiple PCs and tried booting off second vga and the card wasn't being recognized in the bios despite the pretty lights coming off it. It's massive. Either way now I'm just playing a waiting game with RMA. Sucks cause this card has the best reviews for the 4080 series.
Overall Review: Hope my next one works.

Pros: Monster Power - Tackles every game with ease. Very Quiet, even under full load. Incredible build quality The Scalpers Don't want it.
Cons: Massive Expensive Only thing I could buy that was not at scalper prices.
Overall Review: Ignore the people that say that you made the wrong choice. This card has all the power of the 4090, is at least $500 cheaper then scalper prices, and is one beast of a card. AT 1440 there is nothing better. Not to mention it does it all with much less power consumption. I have no regrets and neither should you. Highly recommended.
