Pros: - One of the smallest 4080 available, at only 322mm - again, only 322mm; most 4080/4090s are 335mm+ - firm 3-slot card, not four slot - three slot - three slot bracket for additional stability - no-RGB and looks perfectly professional - runs cool - max 65C - runs quiet - very power efficient

Cons: - build material a bit cheap - still a rather large card - expensive for the performance, but still very very good - support bracket is not very impressive, and doesn't exactly prevent sag - like all 40 series cards, use fragile 16-pin connector with the ugly adapter

Overall Review: - yes, performance is excellent - a bit pricey, but performance is definitely there - probably not a buy for most people

Cons: - Very Large (not a problem for my case) - Requires three dedicated PCIe cables, not a single cable with two plugs.

Overall Review: Massive upgrade from my RTX 3070. I used that card for two+ years. The 4080 is quieter and significantly faster. I was playing Flight Sim with everything maxed out and Im probably getting 2.5x the frames. I still get some slowdowns (even with DLSS) on with all things maxed out in a crowded area such as Seattle with bad weather. Previously it was unplayable at this spec on my 3070. I game at 1440p on an Alienware OLED monitor. Last evening, I tried Halo Infinite campaign mode with everything maxed out and it was incredible. I cant hear this card at all, in contrast to my 3070 which I think kicked out more heat than this? I didnt want a 4090. Its overkill for my monitor and I didnt want to bump up against my PSUs 850w limit. The price performance ratio may be a tad lower than the 4090, but around $400 less and Im getting well over 100fps in games at 1440p. I have looked at the card in MSI Afterburner, but have no reason to overclock. Its pumping out all the FPS I need. I did have to buy one more PCIe cable, but that was worth it. Great buy overall.

Pros: it's a 4080! super-fast stays very cool haven't gotten it to go above 59c so far with a heavy overclock, my 3080ti ftw3 is a furnace compared to this thing specs say 2535 boost clock but mine hit 2785 out of the box so idk what that's about lol but I'll take it Better power efficiency than any other generation paired with a 13900k and a good mobo and ddr5 ram and your set for the next few years

Cons: Not a 4090 Silver plastic kind of has a cheap feel to it, but it does look good and it's not being touched anyway so its no biggie The support bracket could be a little more solid No argb

Overall Review: Excellent card super grateful I was able to get one, really would have liked to get the 4090 but alas no stock, with that being said I am very happy and super impressed with this card. I have been an evga fanboy since the beginning and they were my go to for gpus. They left some big shoes to fill to say the least. With this card MSI not only fills them, but they laced them b@#ches and took off running! MSI has always been preference for motherboards so I am happy I can rely on them for quality gpus now.

Pros: - Easily overclocks with Afterburner to +150 core and +750 memory. - Temps usually hover around 60C while gaming and have never hit 70C. - Very quiet and barely audible. 41% fan speed is the highest I've seen it go. - Power draw rarely touches 300 watts and usually sits low to mid 200's. - This Ventus is way more impressive than what I was expecting from MSI's bargain 4080.

Cons: - It's not a 4090. - It should be priced at $999 ($1,049 for the OC).

Overall Review: I'm super happy with this Ventus! My perfect graphics card would be this design in a 4090. I think it's the best-looking of the 40 series cards. Sadly, they don't make the 4090 in a Ventus, and even if they did you probably couldn't get your hands on one any time soon. What a shame that it's so hard to buy a 4090 when you're willing to spend the cash. That said, the 4080 is a terrific card, just priced a bit high when compared to the 4090. No one would be complaining about it if it were under a grand. Well, then again, people complain about everything nowadays because it's the thing to do, I guess.

Pros: I'm switching this out for a 3 year old Gigabyte 2080 super and the difference in the noise level is amazing. With the 2080 I could barely hear the game I was playing, this one I can't hear the fans when playing. Beyond that it's working great and installed easily. I did have to get a new power supply as my old Corsair 850 did not have 3 independent PCI-E plugs. I paid MSRP!

Cons: It's way bigger than my old 2080 super but it fit in my NZXT ATX case with a few inches to spare

Overall Review: Super quiet card, works great, no issues so far and instock at Newegg for a fair price, exactly what I was looking for.

Pros: Runs very quiet (no sound at all) Running 1000w PSU and don't really need it, very power efficient. Performance wise you're running everything maxed out Temperature runs around 59c/61c OC Didn't need the support bracket to prevent sag

Cons: Big Boy GPU (not a problem for my case) I guess it's a little expensive for the performance. (Not really) 4090/4080 series cards, ugly adapter (I call it the Mr. Octopus)

Overall Review: First, I would like to thank New Egg for taking care of Military community APO/FPO. Even though this not the top-of-the-line MSI 4080. I bet you can't tell performance wise, and you will save some money. I did want the MSI Suprim model, but unfortunately that didn't happen. Honestly this MSI product is a great value and I got it at MSRP. Nothing bad to say about this product, just all smiles for me.

Pros: Upgraded from 3070 rtx. About 30%+ increased perfomance. No problems with pci-e adapter.

Overall Review: i'm completely satisfied.

Pros: -Smallest partner company GPU -Can run all modern games at max graphics with 80+FPS -Stays cool with little sound 50-60°C while playing for awhile

Cons: -No RGB, if that's your thing -Still very little wiggle room in case -need a newer PSU if you don't want to dixie chain a PCIE cable

Overall Review: Overall it's a great upgrade from my MSI Ventus 3x 3070, it's an amazing card and I luckily bought it at MSRP on the 1st restock. Most 3080's and 3090's sell for a lot more on NewEgg so it's a no brainer to buy a 4080 instead if you want to buy from a trustworthy source like Newegg.

Pros: - Runs very cool and quiet (ambient is around 36c in my case and at full load never gets past 61c, fans rarely even ramp up never past 30%, and honestly quieter than my case fans which are all noctuas) - ridiculous performance in everything I've been able to throw on it, runs any game I've tried at max settings 1440p including using ray tracing with almost no effort, and even runs games on my 4k TV on max settings at more than 60fps in most games. It's honestly a joy. - no rgb on the card (might be a con for you, but for me I prefer a more understated PC build)

Cons: - very expensive, especially if you're thinking about price/performance (if I could have, I would have gotten a 4090 but those are difficult to find anywhere near msrp when I was looking to buy and honestly the extra few hundred dollars does make a difference to me). - the 12pin connector is kind of an eyesore, and at this price you'd think NVIDIA would put slightly more effort in the aesthetics of that cable

Overall Review: Great if you can justify the cost, can play basically anything and especially good if you care about ray tracing.

Pros: I am sure it is a fast card but I wouldnt know.

Cons: Doesnt work out of box.

Overall Review: The card was dead on arrival from Newegg, hopefully the RMA process goes through and they send me a new card. I know these things can happen but upon doing research into the subject this doesnt seem to be a rare occurrence here. Just be careful and ready to deal with RMAs.
