Pros: I've been using a 3080 GPU with Ryzen 5600x running MSFS at mostly ultra settings on a 4K monitor with 3 screens. The FPS slowed to lower 20's near the ground in a large city. Way to slow for accurate landings. Upgraded to this 4090, now FPS on landing is upper 30's. Much better. Is it worth the cost? For me it was. The 4090 runs cooler and quieter than the 3080 and draws less power under the conditions I run. MSFS is my retirement hobby after 40 years as a commercial pilot. I want MSFS to replicate my experiences as close as possible and this GPU helps it do that.

Cons: Price.

Overall Review: Haven't had any problems with coil whine like some other people said. Haven't had any problems at all with it yet. Runs everything I've tried at 4k easily. Over 100 fos constant in Cyberpunk using frame generation

Pros: This thing is a beast, great for just playing games or whatever else your heart can dream up.

Overall Review: 9/10 would definitely suggest this card. Maybe check for coil whine before selling to a customer.

Overall Review: My main reason for purchasing this card was to play Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 in VR. This card blew my mind that it was able to run MSFS 2020 in VR maxed out! In OpenXR Tools for Windows Mixed Reality, the render settings were set to 100% with motion reprojection off. The render scailing is set to 100 in the game. And like I said before, all other settings were maxed out in VR! I did not use any kind of DLSS as far as I'm aware of. I tried it inside the Boeing 787 cockpit while landing and takeoff, and it was as smooth as butter! The rest of my PC consists of an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D, 32 Gb of DDR4 RAM at 3600MHz at CL 16, Asus B550 mobo, Samsung 980 1 TB m.2 drive, Rosewill 1300W PSU, and an HP Reverb G2 VR headset. This GPU is chunky. It takes up about 3.5 slots and it's really long. So make sure it fits in your case before buying. It barely fit on mine length wise. The only down I can say is the price. After taxes and shipping cost, the card turned out to be $1859. Ouch. So your wallet may hurt a bit after. I am glad however that I was able to find a 4090 for just a little over MSRP though. Being an aftermarket card, in my opinion, being $100 over MSRP is reasonable. I'm just glad that finding cards in stock at or around MSRP is a thing again! Overall the card did not disappoint. I'll eventually try out DCS with the card. But I believe if it can run MSFS 2020 in VR maxed out, it can run anything out there!

Pros: -Absolutely mind blowing performance! I game with an Ultrawide 3440x1440 144Hz monitor, and never thought I would see the FPS on Cyberpunk 2077 run at max settings + psycho Ray Tracing meet (let alone exceed) the 144Hz refresh rate. With DLSS frame generation turned on (and DLSS 2.0 set at "quality"), I'm getting 160+ FPS which is absolutely insane! DLSS supposedly has some image quality shortfalls, but at the "quality" setting there's no noticeable difference from native. Alternatively you can keep frame generation on, disable DLSS 2.0, and still get 100+ fps. Running a game like Cyberpunk with everything including ray tracing maxed out and having it run this smoothly is truly mind blowing. Temp never exceeded 68 degrees during play. If these are the results achievable with Cyberpunk, then this card will pretty much demolish anything else you throw at it. -Gigantic card but actually fits just fine in my Fractal Meshify 2 Compact mid-tower case. Was a little concerned initially that it wouldn't fit and I'd need to switch to a full-tower size case, but to my surprise it fit perfectly fine.

Cons: -Expensive, but worth every penny if you can get it at MSRP.

Overall Review: -Never thought that I would ever spend this much money on a GPU, but I'm sure glad I pulled the trigger. I was originally on the fence between the 4080 vs. 4090, and was leaning towards 4080 due to the cheaper price and plenty of stock. After weeks of contemplating and constantly refreshing the Newegg page to see if 4090 is in stock by Newegg, I eventually said eff it and jumped on the 4090 as soon as I saw it available again. From what I've seen, it does indeed come back in stock by Newegg at MSRP periodically, but you have to get on it as soon as it does because they don't last long. So if you're in the market for a GPU with the best performance possible, buy it as soon as you see it available at MSRP... you won't regret it.

Overall Review: Let me start by saying I am a Huge gamer nerd and do love me 4k gaming! This card plays any game you want weather its new or just came out or old whatever you want it plays ultra everything very easy! Only certain games wont push 4k 120fps+ but honestly who cares non OC things hit 80-90fps average on 65c or less ! Mind you I live in AZ!!! Looking forward to seeing the wonders this card brings me as I grow with for my youtube/twitch business but if your looking for a next gen gpu thats future proof for many many years I highly recommend this one! Reliable and beautiful design go MSI!

Pros: Absolutely destroys my RTX 3080 10GB Asus ROG Strix. (at least double the performance and much less power and temps). In all honesty, the upgrade was just to get a major boost to gaming (although a totally unnecessary purchase. Would have been OK with my Asus ROG Strix 3080 10GB for another generation past the 4000 series.) -Overbuilt and keeps temps low generally under 75 degrees C on 3D-mark benchmarks and recent games such as Uncharted Legacy of Thieves and Returnal.

Cons: -Expensive - Large card (be sure your case and power supply can handle this.) -Expensive. Spending over 1.6K and insuring the card is about 2K. - Limited to 450 Watts..(who cares..unless you do)

Overall Review: At a bare minimum, this this card is an equal to the Nvidia FE 4090. All things said...do not overpay. If you get the MSI 4090 gaming verson, just overlock the card to get the X version.

Pros: The fans seem Quite even under load. Frame rates are great in most games at max settings at 3440x1440. I have not noticed any coil whine even under load at least not yet though some reviews mention it which leads me to believe some might have that defect and others like mine not so much. Frame generation is the way of the future when combined with nvidia reflex to counter the added latency.

Cons: The only thing I would like to see in the future is the power connector being in the same spot evga put theirs.

Overall Review: I would recommend this card to anyone running ultrawide or 4k under that the cpu will be a bottleneck although 1440p is still a performance gain on a 12900k or better. I would also recommend using a cablemod sleeved cable which is better quality than the standard power adapter.

Pros: - Great products, fast delivery, plug and play. - This card is absolutly a beast playing 3840X1600p at 144fps at pretty much every game with a 5900x - Good thing only 3 cables are needed for that beast.

Cons: - Downside a beautiful coilwhine - Price ( for that price tag as a customer you want something more HighEnd without coilwhine..)

Overall Review: I would recommended it to anyone but beware of that coilwhine, if you have a silent setup, trust me you will hear it.
