Overall Review: First, this is the "Lite" edition of this card, which means it only has 1 HDMI and 1 DisplayPort. I don't run multiple displays, so it isn't an issue for me. With that said, I am really impressed with this card and the AMD software that runs it. This card replaced my GTX 1650 Super, which was really only adequate for current titles and barely so for games like Battlefield 2042. The RX 6600 runs BF 2042 at more than 75 FPS vs 50+ for the GTX 1650S (paired with an i5-10400). The card is quiet and runs pretty cool for a card that is as compact as this one is. At 97% GPU utilization the temperatures hover around 75 - 79 C. At idle, it sits around 35 C, which is a little warmer than the GTX 1650S, but this card also has a larger power budget, so that is to be expected. Overall, it is a great card, it stays cool and quiet, and it has allowed me to run much higher quality settings with impressive frame rates (1080P). Very happy with this purchase.
Pros: This card is great for 1080p at max settings. Low power requirement, quiet, small form factor. I have a Core I5 9400 of which both run very well together. Recommend if you are looking for a fairly reasonably priced card (at least at the current market) with your expectations at 1080p max settings.
Cons: Price is still above msrp.
Overall Review: Recommend. See my comments in the Pros section. Note: The card I got from Newegg is the Lite Version. This only means you get one HDMI and one Display Port. The regular version you get 3 Display ports. Everything else is exactly the same. Keep that in mind when purchasing if that will be an issue with you.
Pros: Runs great
Cons: It is a lite edition
Overall Review: If you can get it on sale its definitely worth buying
Pros: Quiet - I can't hear this card idle or at 100% load. Small - It is quite a bit smaller than the RX 590 pulse it replaced. Efficient - If you want a space heater, this is not the card for you. I run it stock and it never crosses 70º C. Gaming it is pulling 100W typically but boosting I'm guessing it does use the 140W as advertised.
Cons: Quality - This card feels mostly plastic. The i/o shield has silver tape covering the two missing ports. If you didn't know already this card only has one HDMI and one DP. Cost - Well what can I say... I paid 2022 prices for something similar to the 2060 Super.
Overall Review: This is not the card for everyone. It is a RX 6600, but I think there are enough changes that this should be called something different. Some frequencies are different and again it only has two outputs. Sapphire designed this card with existing parts and the least costly cooling solution. For being a Sapphire product, it does not have that premium feel. That being said for my needs this is excellent. I only use a single monitor and can play my games in 1440 over 100fps. This replaced my RX 590 at double the cost, but is newer, cooler, quieter and as I understand it has more features which I have yet to use. If you are on the fence because the price all I can say is the future for low end DGPU looks bad. I do not see prices improving anytime soon and if you look at the secondhand market it is grim. If you get this at a reasonable price, I'm sure you will come to the same conclusions I made.
Pros: Performance is great, this thing eats Elden Ring for breakfast! It's is a lean mean 1080P/2K graphics machine. Also, it's kinda chunky to the touch, feels like a nice quality piece.
Cons: Only has one DP and one HDMI, not a 'con', just a heads-up
Overall Review: Super smooth 1080p/2K gaming, great price-per-performance, 10/10
Pros: Easy set up running optimally with a few tweaks. This delivers 6600 performance in a smaller gpu, if that is what you need in a confined space this fits the bill.
Cons: It runs a bit hotter than my other 6600 no doubt due the the small frame and build its constant at 68-70 deg C
Overall Review: In the market for a 6600 this fits the budget and gives the performance.
Pros: - fits in small cases! - quiet I got this one to fit in my tiny LAN case (the cooler Cooler Master H100). I was using a gtx 1660 super, but it died after a bout 6 months. I had to go back to the old gt1030 in the meantime... which was better than nothing, to it's credit the gt1030 is remarkably stable, but just not well suited for modern games. Back to the 6600, I'm pleased with it so far and am grateful that prices have started going down in the GPU market.
Cons: -none yet
Overall Review: If you're doing a small form factor build and space is an issue, this is a solid choice. There are better cards out there, but this lil guy will get the job done.
Overall Review: Great product
Pros: When used with a properly set AMD Chill settings the power consumption is no more than than a GTX 1650 Super (100W Max) in very demanding games like Red Dead Redemption 2 while in games like Doom Eternal though will use less then 75W (average is actually 65W) @ 1080p in Ultra Nightmare. The actual performance is great for Max settings (exception 1st level of quality in RDR2 if you want 60fps) 1080p gaming and high to medium settings at 1440p (RDR2 will play at 59.5/60fps with the lowest "balanced" settings) this is even with AMD Chill activated. It runs quiet in my case compare to the case fans. I have been wanting to get a GPU with the most bang for my buck with the least amount of power draw and so far this has been a great choice for that. Oh actually having a metal back plate is good as well.
Cons: These cons are minors but here they are. Fan control & temps is hit or miss if you want to go the 1440p. This card is going after the 1080p gamer, but if you want to go and do a lot more 1440p gaming go with a different model with a three fan design. The fan controls are not great with Zero RPM on so if you got poor air flow, and/or a small case turn it off. The metal tape on the ports not used instead of putting on a properly made cover is tacky, but it's no deal breaker for me. Others may see things differently If you want to Ray Trace anything other than Minecraft well at the time of writing this review I would say if you do not mine playing at 30fps (or less on more demanding games) then look elsewhere until AMD gets their new RSR tech fully worked out. I don't game with Ray Trace on so it's no big deal with me. It's also a shame that I bought this at the price I did instead of waiting for the price to drop just three and a half weeks later, but that is on me.....
Overall Review: Great for 1080p gaming, a tad too warm for 1440p gaming, but most importantly with AMD Chill a lot less power demanding then other cards with similar performance (like the 1660s or 2060 non super). This card is paired with a I7-10700T (35W CPU) on a H470 Motherboard so I now have a powerful 1080p/1440p gaming rig that dose not draw more than 150W max out of the wall while gaming (with games like Doom Eternal it's under 100W). With electric bill prices soaring this card is a good investment for heavy gaming sessions. Just don't expect Ray Tracing as of yet until AMD gets their RSR fully worked out....
