Pros: - No Power Connectors Required! Powered by PCI Express Slot. idles at 18 - 20w - Silent Fan - Compact Size/Form Factor - AV1 Support/Recording also has the best H.264 Quality out of the three GPU companies - Drivers are a lot better this time round. - Card doesn't overheat (62c top for me) - Comes with Gotham Knights Until August 31, 2023
Cons: - Only con I can think of is it's performance is low, but I'm not using it for gaming so it doesn't matter much to me
Overall Review: - Perfect Secondary GPU to use as a display adapter, recording/streaming card, Ai background use card while you game on your main GPU while being extremely efficient. Definitely better than the ASRock Challenger edition in my opinion after owning both now. Highly Recommended.
Pros: Uses PCIE slot for power. Used in my Dell optiplex 7020. I use this for just surfing the web, watching videos and email instead of using the igpu from the I5 4570.
Cons: While it works, in order to game with stability and have the best experience, you must have rebar enabled on your motherboard. Dell no longer does bios updates for such older systems.
Overall Review: If you just need a slot powered graphics card this is great for it's purpose. I use it to push my 49'' ultrawide 1440p monitor. If you are gaming, make sure you have rebar enabled, if you're using this for watching videos, reading etc, and no gaming, then it is a perfect use case in that situation for basic use. The user interface for the driver is much different from it's competitors so it may take some time to get used to. This also works well as a dedicated streaming PC, rendering and video editing if you need something on the more affordable scale because you are just starting out learning how to do things etc. This is the best kept secret for older Dell optiplex and other users who have small PSU's and don't want to spend money to upgrade etc. The most this uses it 40-50 watts under heavy loads, again, I don't game on this, so you mileage may vary if you attempt to game on it.
Overall Review: Does not post to a DVI single link with a Display Port to DVI adapter. Will not post to HDMI.
