Pros: Can easily play anything in ultra settings
Cons: I honestly can't think of anything bad
Overall Review: From a person coming from a r5 1600 + gtx 1060 6gb 1080P gaming to a r7 5800x3d + rx 6950 xt 1440p gaming 34 ultrawide, I am in absolute awe on what this thing can do! Its my first time going full amd. I never really was a fan of RT and when it comes to price to performance, this gpu IMO is the best value for money for pure rasterization most specially for the games that I play. It's the sweet spot for 1440p as I Mainly cs go, gw2 and triple a games like re2 re3 gta v rdr 2 etc. I am very happy with the performance! Kinda sucks though as when I bought this it was at 830 and after a few weeks its now down to 799 but its okay.. This will definitely last me 5 years and beyond.
Pros: Powerful gpu ,it can hang with rtx 3090 tiand is better then the rtx 3090
Cons: a little louder than i was use to but, my last card was whisper quiet but high-end cards are a little louder so it's only kind of a con
Overall Review: I love this card,I got it on a sale during black friday and upgraded from a rx 6800 and I can tell a difference to my suprise. It's about 24 to 40 more frames and the ray tracing is even decent it's better than my 3070 work machine at raytracing about a 3070ti depending on the game and is better then that in others but in pure raster it's just under the 3090 ti but beats it in some games. the card is big so make sure you have some room in your case and it comes with a gpu bracket which I taught is a nice touch. worth the buy
Overall Review: A card that rivals the 3090 TI and cost way less. This card is solid and performs very well. It is a long boy so be sure to check those case dimensions. It comes with a support bar that screws into the end of the card and into your case where you typically screw down your GPU bracket. The bar adds another 0.5" to your card length. I opted not to use it since it's silver and not aesthically pleasing to my build. I do not have any sag without it, which surprises me due to the cards size. This is my first AMD card since around 2012. The drivers/software haven't crashed and work flawlessly for me. Highest temp I saw was 54C on Warzone 2.0, Extreme settings. Enjoy.
Pros: Graphics are amazing!!! I can play Cyberpunk (post patch 1.61) on ULTRA on a 5120 x 1440 p Samsung G9. As of writing this, out of the box the card was a plug and play situation for me since I already had the AMD Radeon 2 drivers. I received the card as new, there were plastic protectors to peel off from all sides. Card has a great back plate with the "Merc" etched across it. It physically feels and looks like a premium product
Cons: Card is HUGE and heavy. XFX does give a really sturdy reinforcement piece to help hold the card but I still bought a gpu stand because my pcie slot was weak due to previous damage. Make sure that you buy a tall enough gpu stand and can handle some weight. My new microatx case had to be switched out for an old mid tower case I had because this card was so long.
Overall Review: 10/10 Will purchase from XFX again because of the build quality. Their additional reinforcement piece was really cool, felt premium and thoughtful, it even had the XFX logo on it. Graphics are the star of the show and really blew things out of the water for me even from the gate without tweaking any settings. If you're thinking of gaming in 4k in high settings this is definitely THE card especially for the price.
Pros: It feels like if it had worked properly, it would have worked Amazingly
Cons: Gpu was idling 55-60 Degrees celsius Would crash on games 5 minutes in
Overall Review: Yes this would be a perfectly great GPU but unfortunately mine seemed to be defective, Im getting an RMA on this item at this moment. I am hoping that this does not happen again. Well how did I know it was defective in the first place? Well I also tested games that the 6950xt had crashed on, with other GPUs such as my old GTX 1060 and my buddies RTX 3090. They both ran perfectly. I will write another review once I get my hands on the real deal.
Pros: -Love the dual BIOS -Minimal lights are a plus for non-rgb enthusiast -Card looks very stylish
Cons: Nothing I can think of
Overall Review: High fps on any game I throw at, low temp, low fan noise, and just overall a beast of a card! Now I can take full advantage of my 1440p monitor.
Overall Review: Arrived in just 3 days to Israel. I had to do some adjustments, but incredibly it fitted my small Corsair iQue 220T case. The card is quality made and looks beautiful. My power supply is 750rmx and in handle this card without issues. I undervolted the card and set max fan limit to 50% as it can get pretty loud. I play on 3440x1440 resolution. So far been playing Battlefield 2042 ultra and easily get up to 144 FPS, on MFS2020 with FSR i get 40-70 FPS in New York which is good. The RT performance not comparable to Nvidia, but i dont care, i prefer rester power at lower price. Really happy with my purchase:)
Pros: Excellent performance and good overclocking headroom. This card is insane at 1440p in COD MW2 and easily gets over 300fps in competitive settings. This card pulls over 100W less than my 3090ti and on average is faster when both are overclocked. It might not seem like much of an upgrade from the 6900xt, but the faster G6 memory makes quite a difference in plenty of games. Very good cooling and noise as well. The stock fan curve is aggressive since Adrenalin uses the junction temp as its reference, so you need to tweak the curve, but once tuned it stays in the low 60C range and is very quiet. This cooler is very beefy and well made, this card is built like a tank.
Cons: Card is very long and might not fit in some cases. This card is also pretty power hungry so make sure you have a good power supply. These arent really cons, but just things to be aware of for such a high end cards.
Overall Review: Overall this is an excellent GPU for high settings and competitive 1440p and 4k gaming. It holds up very well in price and performance to the 4080 16gb, which is almost double the price for equivalent AIB models.
Pros: Seems great so far for non-ray traced 4K gaming. HDMI 2.1 support
Cons: Lack of documentation from XFX. Lack of information on dual firmware DIP switch settings. Lack of guidance on AMD driver compatibility and best practices from XFX and/or AMD for driver installation and troubleshooting.
Overall Review: This 6950 XT is an upgrade for my XFX Radeon VII card. My example had the dual firmware DIP switch set 'wrong'. This led to the system having no video out signal, taking several hours of troubleshooting the overall system and GPU to identify the DIP switch as the culprit. Make sure it is flipped toward the power cables. The AMD driver ecosystem is still frustrating especially when it competes with Windows Update. Z bracket adds an extra cm to the card length and can conflict with the case PCI card mounting assembly (in my case, the unused vertical GPU mount assembly will need to be modified to close the case rear).
Pros: It's a better option for the price then a 4070 Ti or a 7900 XT
Cons: Nothing but NEWEGG throws in a promotion code and a free game right after I purchased it but it's still a good deal never the less.
Overall Review: Yes
