Pros: - Compact - Performs well - Slight factory overclock over NVidia's reference card, even without increasing power limit
Cons: - Small cooler - BIOS bugs in DisplayPort - Pricey compared to competition
Overall Review: I upgraded to this card from an MSI GEFORCE GTX 1070 ARMOR 8G OC, which also has a 2-fan cooler and a 200W power limit. On installation, it was obvious that the Zotac has a smaller cooler than the MSI; both the heatsink and fans are more compact. With my setup, depending on how many monitors I'm driving and at what refresh rate, the card idles at about 50-56C, and the default fan curve goes to 0 RPM at 54C. At the higher end of idle power consumption, the fans don't stay at 0 RPM for very long; they will spin up for a second or two at a low speed (500 RPM or less, which is very quiet), then shut down for a second or two, in alternating order (front fan only, rear fan only, repeat.) I did some tweaks to my chassis fan curves and if I'm only running my main monitor at 60Hz, the card's fans will mostly stay turned off. My monitor is a Samsung C32HG70, which may have a slightly unusual DisplayPort implementation, and the BIOS on this board is usually unable to initialize EFI GOP (Graphics Output Protocol) on this monitor when connected via DisplayPort. The full-fledged OS drivers (in either Windows or Linux) do not have this problem. This means that it is possible to boot an OS, if compatible display drivers are already installed, but it is not possible to get into the BIOS menus. I need the HDMI port on the card to connect to my home theatre setup, so I worked around this issue by buying a passive DP++-to-HDMI cable. This works fine, but requires refresh rates over 60Hz to be configured as a custom resolution in the Nvidia Control Panel, and the cable I'm using can't handle more than 100Hz at 1440p. To be fair this issue is probably Nvidia's fault, not Zotac's; the Geforce 1070 that I upgraded from had a very similar problem and I expect this to affect all competing 30-series cards. I'm pretty happy with the purchase; I prefer cards with light power requirements over heavily overclocked cards that consume more power for little benefit. The default power target on this card is 200W, and can be increased to 220W. The cooling solution is adequate, and quiet enough (can't hear much over my home theater system when gaming, and it's quiet enough at idle.) However, given the cooling solution and the MSRP, it might make more sense to buy a competing card (if you can find one close to MSRP!) that might have a nicer cooling solution at a lower price.
Pros: Really great upgrade. I personally picked up anywhere from 40 to 100fps on different games. Lighting is way better as well. My previous card was a 1660 super and I could absolutely notice a difference.
Cons: Non so far!
Overall Review: Would recommend 100%
Pros: -Aesthetics are nice -3060 Ti -Easy overclocker, for the most part
Cons: -My card had Hynix VRAM -Runs a little on the hot side -Fans are loud at 80%+
Overall Review: Won it in the shuffle. Not exactly the 3060 Ti I wanted, but Im not going to turn down a 3060 Ti at less than scalper prices (but still above MSRP). Arrived pretty quickly and was definitely a new in box card. Easy overclocker for what it is (+75 on core, +750 memory). I play at 1080p 144 Hz so the OC is probably overkill, but I cant leave stuff alone. Tried to undervolt it initially but struggled to get it done without crashes. Vram on my card was Hynix. so that did reduce the ability to OC the memory. Runs everything Ive thrown at it without any trouble. This card does get a little warm, even at stock (mid-70s C during superposition benchmark at 1080p extreme), due to the 2-fan design. Easy to mitigate slightly with a custom fan curve. Fans do get decently loud at 80% and above but are pretty quiet until that point. I like the aesthetic of the card, the neutral colors make it ideal for any build. The white emblem LED fits my build as well. My case is white with a B550M steel legend mobo (came with this card as a bundle in the shuffle) that has elements of white, black, and grey. All in all Id recommend this card if you can get it for non-scalper prices, but if you have the opportunity to get a 3-fan 3060 Ti for close to the same price as this ($660 at time of winning it in the shuffle) I would definitely go for that instead.
Pros: Undervolted to ~943 mV and overclocked to around 2000 MHz, with the smaller two fan cooler it managed to stay around 65' to 70' C. This card works great on all the games we tested at 1440p. In GTA5 we had to limit the FPS by enabling vSync as the game started lagging at 180+ FPS which I read is a problem with the game engine and not the graphics card.
Cons: None, this card works great.
Overall Review: I would buy this card again, however if it were up against a similarly priced Asus, Gigabyte, etc. I'd pick the brands with a better reputation.
Overall Review: Card works great, bought as a replacement for a 1060 3Gb card, notice a great improvement in graphics and FPS. I would recommend, it also has a great price point. I am not overclocking or doing anything fancy with it so not sure on performance if that is done but out the box it works great in my opinion. Just check your power supply to make sure it can handle this card, I upgraded mine to a 850 Watt Corsair RMx Series. It is a little higher then required but Idon't like to run things at Minimum requirements.
Overall Review: I built my PC with this and have had no complaints at all. Even though I bought this for 1080p gaming, I have played Elden Ring on 4k with absolutely no lag. It continues to exceed my expectations, and the price is unbeatable. 3 months in and I regret nothing.
Pros: Compact size and easy to install 2 Fans that are very quiet Only needs 1 8-pin (6+2) PCIe power plug 8GB GDDR6 256-bit RAM Already Factory Over Clocked Temperature in normal range while gaming
Cons: I got the Discount on this and the total with tax was about $414. I still think this is a bit high and realistically this should have been $325 at the most. Hopefully prices will start dropping over the next year as our economy and supply chain stabilizes.
Overall Review: I bought this for my Home Media and Backup Server so I can game on my TV through my Home Theater Receiver. I'm very happy with the performance and picture quality of my Steam games. Unfortunately I don't have any 4K TV/Monitor so I can't comment on HDR @ 60Hz or 120Hz. If I get a 4K in the future then I will update this review. I did GPU Benchmarks on both Final Fantasy XV Benchmark and Unigine Heaven 4.0 Benchmark on the Highest/Ultra settings I could use on 1080P. I think the results for both were definitely above average and more than enough for the games I want to play. In my attached pics you can see the FFXV Score of 8538 and the Unigine Score of 3689. The other pic shows the CPUID Hardware Monitor temperatures of all components wile running the Benchmarks. These temps are well within normal range. My ATX Mid-Tower case has 1 input fan on the front bottom, 1 output fan on the back top, 1 fan on the CPU Tower Cooler, and the PSU fan. I could make this run cooler bad adding 1 more input fan on the front and 2 output fans on the top. I would definitely recommend this Graphics card to anyone who wants performance without breaking the bank.
Pros: - new card - clear performance increase over my 2060 - quieter than my 2060
Cons: none so far
Overall Review: Looking quite good so far!
Overall Review: I love how Newegg was very quick about shipping out this item an getting it faster than what it said it was expected to be. I am confident that I will be doing more business with you and referring you!
I think this card is good
