Pros: Can run anything at ultra settings Smooth gameplay Stays cold
Cons: Big
Overall Review: Lucky enough to make it to checkout and secure a RTX 4090. Zotac was not my first choice and it seems like a lot of people scuff at them and I guess I was included in that circle. This card and product changed my mind for the future. Zero coil whine which is great since I have heard other brands have had bad experiences . This thing is dead quite on stock settings not changing a thing out of the box. I dont believe the fans have gone over 30% which is just crazy while keeping it below 55 degrees in games like MSFS 2020, BF2042 and RDR2. Its a big card and will require a big case, had room in the Lian Li dynamic evo but I feel you need a cable mod like the one in my picture. A 90 degree adapter would help also but all and all Zotac surprised me and reading ,seeing and talking with others who bought one they are saying the same.Really happy about the purchase and made me purchase a 32 inch 4K monitor . Was rocking a 38 inch ultra wide before but this thing is just so powerful you need to experience it in 4K
Pros: No coil whine (for my card) Performance improvements are huge.
Cons: Power adapter is short and is hanging right there. Eye wateringly expensive
Overall Review: Upgraded from an RTX 3080 10 gb. On a high resolution, high refresh rate monitor, the new card is a monster. Big improvement in VR as well. The usual GPU upgrades I have had in the past would bump things up 30% or so. This upgrade is much more noticeable, albeit at twice the price.
Pros: - cool temp compared to the 3090 - quieter than the 3090 - insane performance in VR
Cons: - price is steep
Overall Review: This card combined with my Pimax 8KX is a dream in VR. Unoptimised games like Fallout 4 VR are simply jaw dropping. It's a whole new VR world with this card.
Pros: - It's a 4090, and it's a beast! - Not jazzy with a bunch of RGB.
Cons: - Only 4 video outputs (missing a second HDMI out, that only ASUS cards have) - Not jazzy with a bunch of RGB. - Brand name doesn't carry the same weight as ASUS or MSI (but is that really a con, if the card works as it's supposed to???).
Overall Review: - To be perfectly honest, I wanted an ASUS or FE card, but was not willing to pay over MSRP nor wait forever to get my hands on one. I jumped on the first available at MSRP from Newegg and have no regrets doing so! I examined the reviews after purchasing, and they were all positive, so that was reassuring during the wait for arival. So now that I have it and its installed, I have had zero issues, and the performance of my games at 4K is amazing and visually stunning, even coming from a 3080 FE (I play COD and my son Fortnite). I do use a 32" 4K 144 hz monitor, so I am able to take advantage of the performance enhancements! To ensure power would not be an issue, I upgraded my PSU to a Seasonic PRIME TX-1600. I do highly recommend folks review the importance of having a good and reliable PSU with enough power. Go see my Newegg Review about the Seasonic PRIME TX-1600, if you want information about why I purchased that. The Zotac Firestorm software to OC and change fan and RGB settings is not clunky and is relatively clean and easy to navigate. I have not OC'd the card, and I don't really have any intentions to do so, to just get another few FPS, so I can't really comment about how well that portion works. The fans, mine are set in Auto, only kick on when I'm playing, and it's not really noticeable (you can manually adjust the level if you want to keep it quieter though). The RGB on the card is subtle but enough to show what you have. The software contains the "typical" RGB effects that one would expect to find. In the pictures I have included, to give context, that is a Corsair 5000X RGB midtower case with a E-ATX MOBO.
Pros: Unknown, my Asus 2080 was far better. Works with a single monitor
Cons: Does not work with 3 displayport monitors attached. Does not work with 2 displayport + 1 hmdi attached Under performs all benchmarks when compared with peers
Overall Review: 2 displayport + 1hmdi = One screen will flicker with ghosted images, CONSTANTLY. 3 displayport = Sometimes it will boot black. Windows works, but no display. Sometimes it will boot with the primary monitor only, the other 2 are registered in Windows and may even pop during bios, but will not display in Windows. Replaced all cables. Tried numerous configurations, moving monitor 1 to monitor 2 spot, etc. No change. Updated drivers, firmware, etc. of anything and everything in system. Same issues. Put 2080 back in system, everything works fantastic. Conclusion: Never ever buy another Zotac. For this stupid amount of money, I don't want to deal with an RMA.
Pros: Temps in low 60s. Case fans are louder than GPU fans
Cons: Adapter cable is unusable . Has no bend. I ordered a 20$ replacement one that works with corsairs psu's so it is a non issue.
Overall Review: I probably won't ever buy team red again. Impressive performance but even better quality
Overall Review: I have not regretted this purchase. I went from 2 x RTX 2080 Super in SLI to this single card. Nothing else changed in my i5-12600K system. The frame rates at 4k with everything cranked are very high and remarkably stable. I play with vsync on the frame rates are steady and 60 or higher. Uncharted 4 ran at 12 fps with my old cards and now is steady 60 (w/vsync on). SpiderMan with ray tracing and everything maxed is over 100 fps Even the strangely demanding Portal RTX is maxed and smooth as butter. The fan noise is low (I am coming from a 2 card setup though) and I do not hear it ramp up like a jet engine like before. It runs cooler than my 2 card setup (old setup would make the room hot) and there is no coil whine. This card is pricy, but Newegg prices were the lowest/fair compared to other internet sellers that actually had stock. I knew the card was expensive but I have no regrets. I love it..
Pros: Run most of the games i play in 4K. Mainly, League of legends Fortnite Apex and Word of warcraft
Cons: None
Overall Review: I bought this so i can play my favorite games in 4K in very good quality, very happy with my purchase!
Pros: great performance
Cons: large card (like other 40 series cards), check to make sure it will fit before buying
Overall Review: I do mainly sim racing on triple 1440p monitors (which is actually more pixels than 4k single monitor), so this Zotac 4090 was a big boost for me (over my 3080ti). Make sure you measure your case... it just squeezed into my case.
Pros: Having a top tier GPU for at least 2 years
Cons: - Very short ARGB cable. I forgot to connect it before I installed the card and its way to hard to get the cable connected now so I am just going to leave it as is. The default lighting works for me. - This card is expensive but compared to the 4080 its a good deal considering the performance.
Overall Review: I was on the fence with the Zotac brand. I had never owned anything from this company. I had always preferred the Asus brand. When the Zotac card popped up in stock I decided to grab it since every other model was sold out and being scalped. I was not disappointed. Performance wise this is 2X as powerful as my 3090 ROG Strix (which is still an amazing card). The 3090 was one of the first cards to offer 4k Ultra @ 60 FPS. The 4090 will be the card to open the door to 4K Ultra 60+ FPS. This card is perfect for VR Sim Racing and runnings games at max on higher refresh rates.
